Agility is on offer tonight too.....

At the Western Classic a few years ago during open down stays a duck landed in the ring and was wandering around behind the dogs. We were behind a building so luckily saw none of this, but the judge was full of praise for all the dogs when we returned. For the record none of them moved. So much for having duck dogs hey!

Yep my dogs can be itchier after bathing so won't do it the day before. 2 days before gives the itches time to settle.

MY kids get breakfast and a very small dinner on the day of a trial. They get fed dinner at 4pm and if they miss out it gets very ugly No training is done on the day of a trial and usually none the day before either. This works for us, but everybody is different. The other thing I don't do is bath the dogs prior to a trial.

I got her like 9 days ago, she has been keeping me pretty busy. Thanks for the recommendation guys. Here is a photo of her OMG look at the size of her - so what is her name and do tell us more

Rubystar I am going to give you my opinion anyway....... I think you should do the trial because more than likely she will have another wedding at some point in the future which would may be able to attend and tonight..... for the first time ever my little man Strauss was a star. Thanks Caffy for taking him and letting me see what he was capable of. Stunning is the best way to describe it

I use Tracey in Banjup as well for Bowen. We have been going for a few years now and she is terrific for Lara but was no help for Moo.

I have 4 boys (1 entire) and 4 girls (1 entire). All live in the house with us and all get on and yes there are sibblings in the clan. I had one bad egg but she is no longer with us . She was great with all the red kids, but gave our cross breed hell.

Hills District Kennel And Training Club, Sydney
Ptolomy replied to Nadine83's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I live on the other side of the country and was made very welcome by the Hills Club when I visited Sydney in April 2010. I was so impressed with their training structure, from first timers, right through to trialing level, and their friendly instructors. The club is also into positive training and is prepared to enhance their volunteers by sending them on training courses -
Rally Valley are you free Friday night

OK on a roll now....... Is he too far forward, making it hard for you to actually do a LAT? and Try turning your head in the direction you are turning its like putting an indicator on and gives the dog a clue which way you are heading.

Mason 2009 - try slowing your left about turns right down to slow pace to see if that helps :D

From 7pm till 9ish at the Canine Centre Masters level to novice level It will be $2.00 a run . We might try to squeeze in a raffle This is in perfect timing for ring practice for the western classic. It will be a fundraiser for World agility Championships in the UK. The money from this show n go will go to the WA people only who make it. Well I fully intended on going training at K9 tonight - got the treats ready, had dinner early, got my shoes on put the kids collars on and then my son came home and said can you give me a hand for a moment. Each time I said I have to go he said just 5 more minutes. After lots of cursing and me trying to back a ute with a big pole attached to the back..... and 2 hours later I turned the switch on to the lights to my training area and they are terrific so I then went and trained my dogs in the back paddock :D and now I want....... roll on lawn
