  1. The longevity is quite remarkable but Surely the weird leg nipple would be a drawback?
  2. not sure if this first one counts or not Got a 50 mm 1.8 last week and love it!
  3. good to hear they are not in bad condition. Can't wait to see pics.
  4. Yeah, I don't have photoshop (and was also kinda annoyed) so they were going to try and get a friend with photoshop to fix it up. I don't think they had any idea at all
  5. I got roped in to taking a photo of 5 kids - all under 2 and my two dogs as a present for the great grandparents. as you say, it was impossible to get all kids looking at the camera, especially as two were so small they couldn't sit up. One set of parents wasn't happy with any one photo and wanted heads swapped around as this is what a previous photographer had done for a different family group photo.
  6. They are great photos Is it common for professionals to do head swaps? Just curious as I was asked to do it last year and it made me wonder how common it is.
  7. she is sooo cute! great name to
  8. that Orangutan shot is gorgeous!
  9. Have been having a look at the 50mm thread and was wondering if anyone has any 35 mm shots they want to share?
  10. oh dear. I love the photos of him jumping. He is so cute and looks so happy. They look like they have lots of personality too
  11. You might want to go in to a store and try that lens out before you buy it. 40mm means you will have to be incredibly close to what you're shooting for macro work. Even with the 105mm I'm only a few inches from things and the shorter the focal length the closer you have to be to fill the frame. You may find you have to be too close to the subject and won't be able to capture bugs and bees and butterflies as it will scare them in to moving away. Thanks. Maybe I will save up for a better one and just get a portrait lens in the meantime.
  12. Hoping to get a Nikon 40 mm af-s dx micro lens. Have a 55-200 lens at the moment. While I love the zoom I've been frustrated at not being able to take shots of things nearby.
  13. wow there are some amazing photos here. I am hoping to order a macro lens later in the week - cant wait
  14. the siamese is gorgeous. i have been having a bit of fun with this though not much to post. i know it is too dark, but kinda liked the effect anyways
  15. Great photos I am not entirely sure some of these count but here we go
  16. I'm not a rescuer either but agree with this. You have done so much you deserve something for yourself.
  17. what is your phone? here are a couple of mine. definately seems to work better outside. too grainy inside.
  18. iPhone 4. I use the camera awesome app as well. I have shaky hands so the vibration reduction is handy. Wow yours captured movement really well. I wouldn't have guessed a lot of these photos are from a phone.
  19. very nice. my inside ones are always so dark
  20. In the other thread you were concerned about the poms meeting breed standards and the breeder being ethical If you go to a byb you are less likely to get the standard - may not even get purebred despite the promises.
  21. i didn't realise they were so small either. They are soooo cute
  22. Wow that's great. I can't show mine - they aren't nearly impressive anyways!
