Thanks JJ, been a pretty good day pain wise, I really thought I'd be in agony but it's all good. Better not speak too soon, will see what tomorrow brings. Hope it's not as cold in the morning if you have to work but by the feel of outside now you'd better get your hot pack ready!

I have ordered a bag of the weight managment range (not sure of the name exactly) but wont be getting it till the long weekend. It is only in 20 kilo bags at them moment, so I am going halves with my girlfriend. Like GayleK said email or call Sherel directly to get more info. I have been feeding two of mine less and less and especially my youngest boy just is not losing any weight so thought I would give the new weight managment range a try. I find my guys have heaps of energy and to begin with it was like they were on speed, they are all really active but they were just over the top, this seems to have settled now, they have been on it for quite a few months. One of my girls occasionlly has trouble with constipation so once or twice a week when I notice she is having problems she gets some pumpkin mixed in with hers and some psyllium husks and that seems to do the trick. This is not down to this food with her but any dry diet she is the same. Loving thia food for my guys, they do well on it and they love it which is a bonus. Look forward to trying the new stuff for the two tubby ones!

funny JJ! Was it cold this morning, I'm still cuddled up in bed surrounded by doggies, won't be going far today with my toe but I'm happy to say it's been pretty good, slept ok, not to much pain. There was initially when the block wore off but it seemed to ease, as long as I keep it up. Quiet few days for me!

Should Members Of The Public Be Allowed To Bring Their Own Dogs Along
tlc replied to SwaY's topic in General Dog Discussion
I think this is a tough question, mainly because you never know what sort of dogs the general public are going to bring, I don't mean breed wise but temp wise. Dog savvy people with well behaved dogs may be fine, but I'm sure not all people that attend dog shows to spectate are dog savvy. The last show here at Warrnambool me and another DOLer both went and took our boys, They were both extremely well behaved (other DOLers there can atest to that) My boy actaully got snapped at by another dog (show dog), it rushed at him and snarked in his face and he just looked at it as if to say geez what did I do. I don't think it is a regular occurance for show dogs to be snappy, maybe this dog knew Cooper was a cross breed but that is a risk I took taking my dog where there is a huge number of other dogs and that goes for any situation really. We enjoyed our time at the show looking at all the beautiful dogs and to be able to have my own pet dog there was great. I would not take one of my girls as she is not a fan of strange dogs and while she wouldn't do anything she would bark and carry on, I wouldn't put her in that positon and also not fair to the people showing either. Common sense should prevail but it doesn't always!! If the general public have to follow some guide lines for taking thier pet dogs to shows then thier shouldn't be a problem. -
Helen you definatley captured a little ghost with Chazer. Annie, love the tounge, gorgeous shot! KL, love the second shot and the chair shot is adorable! You pics are always so crisp and clear!

What a really crappy situation. The way I see it, it is your family home and your Auntie has to learn to respect the way you want things done. Can you just tell her in no uncertain terms that Rascal is your dog and you will be the one to deal with him. Why should he be rehomed when the simple answer is just to get her to but out. It would be a pity for you to have to move especially if your board and lodgings help your mum out.

Well what an eventful evening! Sean decided to cut the top of his thumb half off and we weren't sure if it needed stitching, I rang the clinic but they were closed and I was like now we have to go to A&E I really do NOT like going there under any circumstances and Seans said well we will just hope it's not busy. I joked that it would proly be full of bogans and druggies well we were both kinda right, we only had to wait about 3/4 of an hour but talk about bogan central, one girl plonked herself down one seat away from Sean (thank god i was on his other side) and proceeds to say to him, never drink and don't do drugs and that she was off her head on drugs..... Anyway they finally called us in to see the doctor and while we were in there the loud speaker went off and said code white in the emergency room, I thought any minute we were going to be over run by ferrel drug addicts I was ready to run! Not funny really pretty scary when your scared to go to hospital. Anyway they got two docs to check him out as they weren't sure what they were going to do, option one was open the flap of skin back up, clean and stitch but they decided that because he had held it closed that it looked neat and clean and hopefully it will heal on it's own, so they put a heap of steri strips on it and a finger sock, funny thing it looks like a material condom. So that's been my eventful night ! Also had a lovely lunch today with RJ, it her birthday tomorrow!
