We used to pay $115 for 15 kilo of Nutro as well but now we pay $75 for a 20 kilo bag of BH I a lucky enough to have a friend who lives near Sherel who delivers it to her place. It would cost around another $20 a bag to get delivered to me, so still cheaper than what I was paying for the Nurto.

Your right about Facebook and everyone pretty much knows my new all of it bad as usual. Were off o Bachuss Marsh on the weekend for a dog weekend, well have 6 Spoods, 3 schnauzers, and possibly a poodle, so praying for no rain so we can let the dogs run around outside. Where were going has 5 acres so we take the dogs for a big run then we all go inside and they are all pretty chilled out. Might be asking a bit much 10 dogs inside with energy to burn. God help us. It's funny when we sit down for lunch, I would prefer the dogs to be outside but the host insists they all stay in. Usually there is only 7 dogs but they all sit around the floor as close to the table as possible as they know the host will feed them. ( side note mine are NOT allowed to do this at home) anyway it should be a good weekend! Not sure if Maws will get a chance to pop in, she is off to NZ for work on Saturday. Will miss her while she's gone. Miss Tez, and Tenties has been quiet of late too!

Hey Just seen this thread, I am not sure if this will help but I have a D80 and I have got the F-- error and each time it means the lens is not clipped onto the body properly. Is there a chance your not clipping it in perfectly? It's probly a long shot but each time I have had it happen, I have been certain the lens was attached properly but when I unattatched and reattached it wala, worked perfectly. Hoping it is something this simple for you to get you going. Looks like an awesome lense!!

Ruth I just seen this on Facebook, a while ago I had something similar with Lacy, she vomitted gallons through the night, I thought it was a gastro type thing as she was lethargic the next day but then having having trouble toileting, so off to the vet we went. They thought a blockage was possible but did and xray and it turned out she was constipated, the vet then did some kind of rear end exploratory surgery (don't know technical name) and said she never would have moved the bit that was stuck herself. Cost $200. I couldn't believe how fast she went from doing normal toileting duties to being so constipated that she couldn't go at all, the vet said that's why the vomitting was happening. Hope your boy is ok and it is nothing serious.

Geez we were halfway down the page. What's everyone been up too? Any plans for the long weekend?

Hi Are you going to be doing obedience with your Lab? I just know in our critera with the fetching part the dog has to hold the ball in its mouth and you have to take it so what she already does is ideal. But I get where your coming from re the dirt slobber etc. I have a ball obsessed girl I do obedience with (not formal) so still prefer to take the ball from her but my OH hates taking it out of her mouth when its filthy precious princess that he is. so he just taps the ball thrower on the ground where he wants her to drop it and with some reluctance she drops it at his feet. She will do this so much easier if the other dogs aren't around every time but with some trepidation if the others are there too which is mostly always. To get her to do this initially he just ignored her and eventually she just got it that he wasnt going to throw the ball untill she put it on the ground for him to pick up with the thrower. Sorry not much help but this worked for him. I still think if she is bringing the ball to you and you can take it, add a command as you take it and eventually she will drop it in your hand.

My frined who has oreder mine and her bags of food found out from Sherel that in the weight managment range the fat content is 12% and the protien content is 22% at the moment it is oly available in 20 kilo bags but will soon be available in smaller amounts.
