I thought the brown, now I just have to get someone to buy it for me. :laugh: I have birthday next month and my list is getting soooo big, literally, 7D, 50mm, 70 - 200mm and now a Porteen bag. What are my chances! Oh how to pick a strap, they are all so nice and trendy, love the name of the company! I am partial to the plain leather ones!

Thanks, I think the second choice is probably the better of all of them, it just seems to go together. But I really love the wine! If I did go with the first option Id have tog o with brown strap and brown canvas yea?

Snook what colour is the leather on your first bag? is it the distressed brown? and what is the colour on the front under the flap? Brown? Ok I have narrowed it down to 4 combos 1. probably my favourite but not sure the wine interior and the mahogany leather go with the pattern?? Thoughts. 2. This combo is probably my second fav and I think it goes together better than the first one? Thoughts. 3. I love this combo but I really am not a keen lover of green and I think Id always say to myself why did you choose green, although I still like it. :laugh: 4. Similar to the first one but different pattern.

I have resisted this thread for sooooo long, a whole 25 pages and I have not ventured in here once. BUT tonight the pull was too strong and my will power let me down big time. I have already narrowed down some fabrics andmleatherfor a porteen bag It's 2.20 and I've been trawling through this thread for nearly 2 hours! :laugh: AND I have to goto work tomorrow, thank goodness it's a late shift! Everyone's bags are just so lovely, love them all. :) Oh and another thing this thread has definatley cemented my decision to get the 7D!!

Sounds like your heaps busy JJ, yea the times for training are basically worked around Laura's kids so sometimes we don't know till the day before. She is not charging anything so it is quite a casual arrangement at the moment.

Big goings on at my house over the last two days. I decided to have a big shift around, some moved our 3 bedrooms, so now we have an office each and a spare room for visitors which is basically what we had before it I moved all the rooms around to give us a bit more space. What a big job, but good to have a big clean up in the process! Apart from that not much news with me all good here! I'm off to work this arvo. Laura has decided to start her own training school, it's mainly for people who don't fit the bill of either of the training schools in town. She is focused on problem dogs who need help, she is fabulous for that type of training and willing to help anyone out. she is fully trained and has had years of experience. It's in the very casual stages as she has a young baby and a toddler to consider so weekly traing times and schedules will change all the time. I don't know what redangel looks like? I think it said she was from the central coast and it's funny at the time but I thought it would be funny if there was a DOLer involved in the show, there is a lot of very keen photographers here. What did you think of it?

It's been a bit cringey in parts but I think that's the whole idea too.

I think the whole Idea is that they are amateurs, kind of like Australian idol but for photographers.
