  3. Wow I only just saw this, that pup is looking great now Mrs T
  4. Heck if all these blues are not so rare imagen the future when brindle and reds become the minority! lol go put 3 grand on em. Why not make a coin. no one needs be a breed martyr.
  5. Spot spraying with metsulfuron and glyphosate gets rid of it.
  6. These people are idiots, even when the dogs do get into trouble get beaten up by other dogs and hit by cars etc, the penny still dosnt drop for them. This is my neighbours reasoning: 'ahh they'll be right, the dogs can do what they like, they are back at dinner time'. And no amount of reason could seep into his thick numbskull that most likely they wouldnt be allright. Well his staffy is dead now. I even tried to explain to him that if his dog causes a car accident and the driver dies, he, not the dog, is the cause of that persons death. It flew right through one ear and out the other with a trail of cobwebs attached.
  7. LOl apart from that monumental dipshits dribble about breeds it was a good article.
  8. A skinney italian lamb, and a poodle with a cronic staff infection.
  9. Another dog will be added to the Victorian Dangerous Dog register, because of 2 idiots. I hope the little tot wasnt too shook up over it.
  10. I dont own one, but IMO in states with prohibitive BSL I would keep my trap shut 100% if you own one, in states with restrictive BSL i would comply with the restrictions, in the territories that dont have BSL i would just do what everone should do and thats get out there with your dog and enjoy life. 1; education -be truthfull about the breed when talking about the breed when people ask. 2; responsibility- understand your dogs nature. 3; public perception- I personally dont care about this at all, so cant comment on it. 4; attack prevention- use common sence, if its dog agressive dont have it near dogs, etc. 5; training/socialisation- a must from an early age. 6; containment- as per legislative requirements in all states, if the feeling should be that the dog needs more secure containment than is givin then upgrade.
  11. Dont get a sheepskin unless its an untreated fleece. Dont use like a sheep skin car seat cover or simmilar. DANGER WILL ROBINSON, DANGER.
  12. Its more big dogs, since big dogs are guards etc, I havnt noticed simmilar reactions to small cutesy dogs.
  13. Yep a total idiot, Ontario is the only province in the whole of Canada to have that, and it dosnt do squat, he should look to calgary to find a solution.
  14. Theres a guy near me who breeds amstaffs that he uses for pig hunting, pedigreed. He posts on ozziedoggers and is pretty well known as most amstaff breeders just breed for showdogs or to place in pet homes.. I dont see much difference between an amstaff and a pit bull, people crap on aboput pitbulls being bred to be gladiators so dont make good hunting dogs, well select for what you get and you will eventually get it. its also written about in the AST breed extention as a traditional use.
  15. I think a dog could cope on a vegetarian diet, I dont think a vegan diet would be very good for one though.
  16. I was talking about the import prohibitions being a flop, sure if anyone wishes to believe no one imports dogs banned from import go ahead and believe it.
  17. That'd be interesting, when no one can even get a handle on just 1 breed they would try it on 50 more or so lol. Thats enough to bust the bank balance of any state. Bit like the unwinnable everlasting 'War on Terror' LMAO.
  18. Tetanus-enzyme! haw-haw-haw Sorry couldnt help myself
  19. The prohibitive dog imports have been here just 2 yrs short of 20 yrs all ready!, yep I think its a well flop of a thing lol. just like the german shepherd prohibitions were.
  20. Either backflip, or just lipservice for the popular opinion that BSL dosnt ever work out like they were told from the get go. The RSPCA policy still stands so i dont think the tumble mats getting a backflip workout.
  21. A few months ago someone had a pup assessed in a Mcdonalds car park of all places, It was the worst story i have ever read on here about how its done, by whome, an amstaff breeder of all people, why, and the outcome. I wish i could remember the name of who it was that was the OP in that thread, so you could email them to find the name of who not to pick. Thats the thread tybrax. I couldnt find it, I looked for ages lol.
  22. I would think its far to young to even try and identify an 8-12 weeks old pup as a restricted breed by physical features, It's so wrong. I dont think the should be so adament about this either, since there is great variety of phenotype within the breed as they would tell you.
