My dog passed away in January, we wont be getting out new dog until July some time but we were on the waiting list before the 2 week mark had passed. We were already discussing getting a second dog so the decision to keep moving forward with that wasnt so hard but we miss her.

Im pre puppy shopping at the moment (pups not even conceived yet haha). We have Crate (given to us) a mat to fit it from the cheap shop, Ill be grabbing a few more in case its a chewer. Bowls Car seat cover (as we have leather seats) Few odd toys my son has picked Brush I have found a lead and collar set I like for dog training but Ill wait until its a bit closer. We have a water bowl from our previous dog but she was old so Im thinking Ill need another heavy set one for outside. I also want a treat pouch for training but thats not really a dog accessory lol.

I was given a small crate so I'll be using it for starters and upgrading later.

Ive used the Black Dog Infin8 too. I used it for my head strong Kelpie x, who pulled like a train on a slip collar or flat collar. It gave me good control and I didnt have to worry about his neck, once he got use to the feel of being controlled he loved it and knew it was walking time when I got it out.

Poochmad, we are getting better, Mr 4 is still a bit concerned about her being gone for so long. I miss having a dog around, I miss all her quirky habits.

Well since my last post (previous page), Anna has now passed away Due to not having to consider her in our plans for a future dog now we have our name down for a Dalmatian pup hopefully to arrive in July. Hubby and I did our research before choosing the breed now Im studying everything else I can.

I sent a breeder an email over a week ago, since then Ive been in contact with another breeder via facebook who has been wonderful. I still havent heard from the original breeder (in my state) so figure they arent interested.

Yes Anna is Purple, Cooper was Red, Lilly is Yellow, Toby was leather and Ive already decided my new dog will be blue. All my dogs wear/wore Black dog collars and leads.

My crazy old Border Collie x is 13years old now. I wanted to spice up things for her, Ive never done clicker training but got a cheap clicker from ebay. I have the general gist of it but anywhere I can look up some info to help me :)

Anna is a Border Collie x Kelpie and Im looking into a whippet. Anna is amazing and so placid but has some terrible habits I dont want a pup to pick up on.

Im thinking about getting another dog in a few years. I be keeping an eye on the puppy area to see peoples training techniques as I think mine are a bit out dated with Anna now being 13! lol :)

Anna is 13 this year and Ive noticed shes getting a bit stiff in the joints. I take fish oil and I was wondering if I can split some of my tablets and put it on her dinner. Thanks ????
