  1. Unfortunately OH has taken the greatest delight in training our two to know all the different meats they eat plus some others that they dont get fed. They know, chicken, lamb, roo, beef, chops, chicken wings, sausages, steak... Which makes it bloody hard when you are trying to discuss your own dinner!! I end up with two dogs jumping up and down salivating because they think they're getting fed!
  2. take a look at border collies (the ones here locally atleast) and other breeds. I notice that working lines tend to be finer as they are lean working machines I have to agree, especially with the BCs I see around my area. You need someone to make him a coat with a saddle stitched on it!
  3. you can use any of my photos, just PM for high res shots
  4. Almost forgot!! One more..
  5. A few more shots, mainly of dogs I didn't have in photos already up.
  6. Yup it was a 50mm lens. It was great seeing you too Fran!
  7. Sure thing Dory, if you want larger copies, just PM me your email addy.
  8. That's probably my fave shot I took all day! Come on people! Who else took photos? Will upload some more a little later.
  9. We had a lovely day today, a little chilly but had a great turn out of people and dogs.
  10. I'm pretty sure it is photoshopped. They are pretty medium size dogs from memory As far as I know those photos aren't photoshopped. Just google Hyenas on chains or pet hyenas. Heaps of photos come up.
  11. What colour did you say you wanted.. ? Tassie will definitely throw orange and black... (after some help from Decore anyway). Oh excellent! You must be an excellent breeder to know what colours he will throw! Genetatics are confuzzling for normal people like me. Now do you have something I can get for my step father. I don't like him very much, but mum makes me get him something. It would need to get on with mini schnauzers and not chase their sheep, ducks, chickens, geese and free range guineapigs.
  12. Ravyk, this is why you need to deal only with local profeshonal breeders - that dog has been dyed. However, as luck would have it, Deshonko does have some very expensive rare striped dogs in our breeding program. We can certainly do a pup for you! Here's a pic I took of my stud dog "Tassie" out in the pens the other day. OMG really? jeebus, better stick to local breeders than. dyed dogs, what will they think of next. Can you make sure the pup is orange with black so it resembles a tiger? maybe some longish hair too. Your stud definitely has the stripes but pity the photo is black and white. What colour is he?
  13. Now see my partner LOVES tigers, but our dogs don't get on well with cats, and after googling I spotted these over in China. Its a perfect gift for him! I'm worried about the shipping time from China, most stuff I get from China either arrives 3 months late, never or upsidedown [dead]. Do you think YOU could do me a better deal on these? Can you guarantee them to arrive alive, in perfect health, trained and more importantly on time? I'd much rather buy locally.
  14. Awww that is cute! Well I guess a full grown bull trying to get into a car isn't so good, especially for the car! Thats really interesting, I never knew that.
  15. Generally you will find, with threads asking for recommendations for kennels in Adelaide, most people who reply will tell you who NOT to use. There doesn't seem to be many good boarding kennels around Adelaide metro area unless you are willing to travel a fair way out. I have heard [but cannot personally vouch] that the Lonsdale RSPCA boarding kennels are pretty good. Pet sitting, I am not sure what other people charge, but I pet sat for a fellow DOL member for just under a month for $300. I think a lot of pet sitters charge anywhere between $10-50 a day. As it is a short time, do you have family or friends who could look after them for the time?
  16. My next dog will be whatever pound scruffer catches my heart and I'm allowed to bring home.
  17. Not dog related, but I know there are a few cat lovers around the place. http://www.news.com.au/world/oscar-becomes...i-1225884599089
  18. What are you talking about?? All of those are amazing!! I really love that first one and the third one.
  19. I personally wouldn't touch the dried bones. I have trained my dogs to eat their bones on towels inside. Is it possible for you to do something similar? Or feed the bones in the laundry or another tiled area?
