  1. I did get tablets for all the humans as well, just to be on the safe side. Will be getting a regular tapeworm tablet for the dog from now on. Thanks
  2. Just had a look at the envolope they gave the tablet in, it is called "Ilium Pyraquantal" all-wormer. Just wormed the whole family as well.......
  3. What did the worm look like. If it was a long thin worm it would not be a tape worm. Tape worms are caused by fleas. Tape worms usually present themselves as looking like grains of rice that may stick to the dogs coat, or segments of similar size and are moveing on the faces. It was long and flat (white, creamy color) and looked like lots of segments joined together?? so what worm is this?? She got some flea's on her a couple of months ago, they only lasted a few days.
  4. Thanks, just popped down to the vet and they gave me a tablet for her don't know what its called. She's been on advocate for 2 years and didn't think see could get tapeworm.... well went out side this morning to clean up after doggy and found a worm in her Poo, so fingers crossed this tablet will knock them.
  5. My dog is using advocate at the moment and does pretty much everything, which is great. But it does not control tape worms!!! what other product can I use with the advocate. Thanks Glenda
  6. Peaches has killed a chook about a year ago, she was playing with it a little too hard But they now live in peace I can let them out and she does not bother them. I just followed her around when the chooks where out and squirted her with some water.
  7. After leaving school I went to Tafe and trained to become a cook/chef and I stayed in the tafe accomodation that was only a minutes walk away. At the end of the first year one of the girls commented about me being stoned every day when I rocked up to class I wasn't stoned but I did look it every morning because I would get up at 8.25 to be at class at 8.30
  8. Would anyone mind if I plug the chocolate fondue fountain on this side table ??? got some yummy marshmallows, strawberries and nougat to dip in. Please help your self Promise to leave you some Jed
  9. I'm still lost for words When you think you have it tough and then something like this happens. Can every one please double check their fire alarms and make sure they work.
  10. I'm lost for words :p makes you realise that life can change in a instance.
  11. I have frozen them and they go down well.
  12. :D :D poor Reg and big hugs for all. have fun on the other side.
  13. Better off the other way round, buy camera in Australia and lenses online. DWI http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/index.asp seem to be comparable to buying from the US. I haven't bought from them but I sure am thinking about it if/when I get another lens. Cheers that looks like the place to buy the camera and the lenses
  14. Yes will have to have a good think about it all, the camera body (cannon 50d) once converted to aus $ is around $1130 that's including postage, will then have to add 10% tax onto that. The lenses add up to $363. Cannon zoom EF 75-300 mm f/4.0 - 5.6 III & Cannon EF 50 mm f/1.8 II is what I am thinking about at the moment.
  15. Once I done my sums etc could I order in 2 batches from B&H if need be and if both are under $1000 would I dodge the tax ??? I would also have to calculate in the extra postage. I could just get the camera and then maybe buy the lenses in Australia, so much to think about
  16. well I'm willing to save up for a while if need be, $1000 - $2000 I also have been looking on the B & H (new york) website at a couple of cameras and lenses. Its it a OK to order from overseas? and what are the pros's and con's and would I need to pay tax on this. I bought a nikon SLR in 1999 (not digital) with a basic lens and was starting to get into it, then came along the children and work commitments and it's been put on hold for a few yeas now. http://photonotes.org/articles/beginner-faq/lenses.html I did find this info about cannon lenses etc
  17. I really want to have a go at both, there some beautiful beaches and wildlife where I live and would love to take some great photo's of the children and the dog etc So am thinking maybe a couple of lenses?
  18. I really want to get back into photography and would love to buy a decent camera, I'm looking at maybe the cannon EOS 50d SLR and was wondering about what lenses would I need to buy. Any help or advice would be great.
