Yep feed peach 2 times a day, dry food for one and some chicken necks etc for the other. She only gets a small feed both times and always finishes it.

We had a farm dog when I was a child that would all of a sudden start shaking its head for a couple of minutes. Took her to the vets a couple of times and didn't find anything wrong. But mum and dad stopped vaccinating and the problem stopped.

Peach played fetch from the start. We would throw the ball she would retrieve it and bring it back, once she stopped playing with it and dropped it by my feet I would just throw it again. I wouldn't take the ball from her until she had finished playing with it.

Peach had mange and also a skin infection, antibiotics for 4 weeks and a course of Ivomec. This certainly didn't cost $500 about $250 -$300 and I'm in the country. I have been using advocate since I got peach at 8 weeks and this wasn't enough to control the mange.

When I was around 12 we got our first dog for our farm (kelpie x) and I didn't want her sleeping outside because I was scared of it running off or getting attacked by foxes etc. We put her in the laundry at night and when she woke up and cried it was my job to comfort her back to sleep. Mum and dad wanted her to be outside from day dot as she was going to be a outside dog. I went away for a weekend and mum put her outside to sleep and we never heard her cry again. She really enjoyed being outside.

How much is he eating ? could he be over eating and needing to pee/poo all the time.

Just thought I would update you all. Took Peaches to the vet last week and even though I'm using advocate she still has mange and the start of a skin infection. She will be on antibiotics for 3 weeks and also something else (forgotten the name) for the mange. Thanks all again for the advice, much appreciated. ;)

I've got some antibacterial antiseptic wound protection for dogs that I will be trying over the next couple of days. Plus a couple of visits to the beach for a swim, the salt water does wonders for her skin, but she hasn't been for a while. If this doesn't work will definitely go to the vets on Monday.

If she seems to be licking the betadine off maybe a bandage would be a good idea.
