  7. Oh thats fantastic. Will keep sending those vibes!!!!
  8. Oh thank goodness. Fingers crossed he has improved this morning.
  9. Will be thinking of you and the little fellow tonight. I hope he pulls through for you. Take care.
  10. My Viz started greying out at 4yrs. Now at nearly 9yo her feet are white, and her coat has faded
  11. I checked tonight Vet said that was fine... in fact she recommended exactly the same thing.
  12. Tash seems back to normal now We stopped her playing under her usual tree and she hasnt had any problems since *touch wood* But we'll be getting tablets from the vets to be on the safe side. Glad your girl is doing well.
  13. thanks! Will go off to the chemist tonight. My dog only weighs about 20kg.... So she wouldnt need all that much?
  14. Where would i find the syrup? Just at the chemists? In the nine years we've had her, she's never had any problems like this before, nor has our other dog so i'm a bit clueless!
  15. Should clarify The vet NURSE didnt seem to concerned... because of the fact they were disappearing so quickly... We can't get into the vets before thursday as they are all booked out tonight.
  16. Yesterday when we let my dog into the house, her head was swollen and covered in bites. They were all down her back legs also and along her sides. She was rubbing everywhere. Our other dog who came inside at the same time had no bites anywhere For the past three weeks we have had a tree down in the back yard. She plays underneath it so at first we thought she had been bitten by something under there, but surely it would have come up before then? Last night she was let inside after being in her kennel for a while and the bites had come back. This morning she had a few but not as many as yesterday. I'd sprayed Mortein in the kennel last night before letting her go to bed. Diet hasnt changed, theres no wandering dew or anything.. only thing i can think of is mozzies, or a spiders or something but she acts perfectly normal (aside from itching) The bedding is getting an airing out in the hopes we can find whatever it is... What types of anti histamines are we allowed to give to dogs? The vets werent concerned, as the lumps went down within 10 minutes of her being inside... So she's off on thursday for other issues and will get this looked at if it continues. Any suggestions to possibilities would be great.
  17. So sorry He'll be waiting for you. RIP Ike
  18. Yep, I'd change your vet. I'd also look at changing the diet to a food that doesnt have yeast/glucose in it just to be on the safe side
  19. Agree Dianna. If it does turn out to be a yeast infection, there are now glucose free dog food in the Supercoat range. Change of diet as well as medication is the way to control that. Finding the right diet is the hard part..
  20. Fly free with my little budgie boys, they'll keep you on your toes Jedi.
