At the very least you should know the parents names by now and a picture or two of the pups. I don't take deposits and I don't allocate pups to people until I know more about both. There isn't a lot of personality at 4 weeks. I find that comes more from 5 weeks on. By all means ask for more, you've already paid for something.

well know one would know you jumped the list unless they were told. And while I don't keep a waiting list I try to make the best match of home to each pup, regardless of when the peolel first inquired.
