I have found people are good, but it might be because they are standing there trying to work out what Lincoln is for a little bit.
-
I would prefer someone call me ugly then Lincoln The general public know nothing about dogs, at dog shows people even fail to recognse Lincoln' breed and compliment me on Curly Coat or look at me strange becase they think I brought a xbreed down to a show! Yet I have had two people ask if they can use my "Red Cloud Kelpie" (really a kelpie/stafford x) at stud! I have to say some common breeds (Labs, Staffords and BC's come to mind) everybody in the world seems to be an expert on and able to judge, freely giving thier opinions to you whether you asked for it or not!

I have never heard a better argument for limiting my dogs at two. -
Just planning for just in case! I hope it dosen't rain either as my big brave boy hates getting his feet wet and has tantys if he has to sit for too long on wet grass.

Lincoln is pretty good with just relaxing in the crate, Toby will hopefully be too tired and will just get over it. Yes I think unless a miracle happens and Toby Q's the dogs will be home in an exhausted sleep on Sunday! -

Toby loves the red one but I hate it, it sounds like a cat killing a donkey! The green one has a more regular sounding squeak . I will be seeing how the dogs go on Thursday and if they are fine with all day I will do it again. -
Toby has allergies but he only gets itchy on his feet and belly where he has very thin hair. His allergies are very seasonal, at the moment he is flaring up but previously to that he had gone 3 months without any allergies. He usually only flares up for 2 or so weeks then will be fine. I have changed diets to various things and have found that if he runs through longer grass he will flare up regardless of diet, so he is now on Nutro with meaty bones supplemented. I feel so much pain for you guys that have to deal with this year round!

In Chessies we allow silver (we call it ash) but because they aren't a popular pet breed and good breeders steer away from it because it can create pigment problems the colour has nearly died out. Sometimes I think popular breeds have such a great burden, having to cater to the public demand and put up with exploitation by BYBers. Brown as we call it is the most common Chessie colour and dominant in both the show ring and field (and genetically).

I am definately interested! Is anybody else being a meanie and leaving thier dogs at K9 the whole day because they can't duck home at lunchtime? It's too far for me so if I go home I will stay, but I don't want to miss the afternoon and being able to relax, so I am debating having the dog/(s) there all day. -
I have an ancient one around, I will take it out today and see if all the parts are there and that it still sets up, if it does we can use it as a shade tent and to claim more space but from memory it won't do squat if it rains! I might come down Wednesday too with the cabana if it won't fit in my car at the same time as the crates. If not I will PM you Maureen to pick up numbers.

Toby's barking is good distraction training . Lincoln was cute and very laid back. I was exhausted after lugging my crate back to the car, next time I might park on the drive like other people were doing. Glad the barking didn't bother you! Lincoln is cute but I am biased

I will start squeaking the i-squeaks mid afternoon tomorrow - that should help find your way to K9 Drive safely - and will see you on Saturday. If Toby hears them he will run away from home Have you seen my sig Ptolomy, its Toby with his least fav (and my fav ) iSqueak because it no longer squeaks! -
Wow you must have sped home . I hope the Instructor didn't mind me doing my own thing . I didn't want to be disruptive to the class coming in and out so I'll train on the sidelines and do bits and pieces in class when they're doing something I want to work on. I like how it's a small group and they didn't do any 'paddock bashing' . I only trained Toby for 10 mins, just some focus and drive stuff . The instructor didn't mind, I was worried about Toby distracting your dogs though with his barking! It was the first time I have trained Lincoln while Toby is crated and he didn't appreciate it. Lincoln was one of the poles in the figure 8 and kept his focus on me the whole time! Toby still couldn't do that!

Yay Tassie! There was an earthquake in Kal a couple of days ago so your timing is lucky! Will see you Saturday with my two brats -
Lincoln just had his first proper training, his focus aready far surpasses that of Toby's around other dogs . Toby did some work too and now they are both crashed on the couch with me. How cold is it starting to get already?

If you go and it's nothing you will feel relived. If you don't go and its serious you will be so mad at yourself.

Off Topic but where is that small childs helmet? -
How do you think those of us going to nationals feel? I wouldn't change a thing! Gosh my metal crate is really peeing me off! I have asked for my X-Mas present already, I want dad to build me a built in crate for my car with drawers (sp?) underneath

At least come on Sunday! It's the Finals day! Which means I won't have dogs in and can relax! Whatever! It's not very likely!

I am so tempted to do a bit of agility with my sheep Spot, I have seen him jump quite high and the little fatso is such a pig he would do it for apple or carrot or his absolute fav, cabbage! He looks alot like this: -

Woah I will make a donation to the Mars Bar Slice fund on Saturday! I might make Rocky Road and my grandmas choc and peanut biscuts.
-
Oh you two! We all know Amy will be making Mars Bar Slice again.... right? ;) Lol Lincoln just came up to give me a big kiss and get a pat. I think he is trying to send me a message telepathically that any food will be fine for him.

Yep, the cut off date for merchandise was 29/3. Damn
