  1. My baby is growing so fast!! "Dallas" Fernnfall Can U Keep A Secret Was awared Best Minor Puppy in Show under Mr K Gorman (UK) at the Victorian Gundog Club Champ Show as a part of the Sunbury Canine Carnivale, she got one minor in show and 2 minor of breed awards all under international judges she has also placed 2nd in her class at 2 specialties behind my friends stunning bitch so i am sooo PROUD of my show pony!! That Whippy is gorgeous!! and i love me a greyhound!!!! this thred alwasy makes me clucky haha
  2. i have a friend who shows staffords and she uses the collar on her boy and a chain on her bitch - the bitch slips the collar set unfortunately... i thing those collar sets are very deceptive and hide a long neck very well hahahaha they do look nice but a chain also has the same effect and gives more control
  3. i got my numbers back but not in the return envelope i sent.. how odd bahaha i have a holiday house out that way so im staying there for the weekend and will also be sleeping in, looking forward to the show!!
  4. helen yay for pics!! i may find u for some pics of my baby :D:D:D Im still waiting on sunbury numbers as well... i dont know which cheque was of sunbury so i cant check if its cleared or not till i get home :S:S ill let u know who the fields are Poo cow :)
  5. And yet the bolded section is how I have felt in all the years I have been showing. I know not everyone is as lucky as me, but getting into showing has been a positive experience for me, and Mum. We have shown in two groups and people from both have been nothing but helpful and encouraged us, both in our breed and in others. Many of them are now great friends and I love going to shows to see them, win or lose. I know there is negativity there too, I have occasionally experienced it, but not often, and from people who's oppions don't matter to me anyway. I must agree with this i have been VERY lucky as a newbie my first show dog is 8 months now and i dabbled in handling of others to start with and most have been really nice and helpful. There are people i dont wish to befriend but we are civil and i think that is general good manners! just because u dont like someone or their dogs doesnt give u a reason to be down right rude and abbrasive! We found at our last specialty that no matter where u get a judges from someone knows them and has their lines etc.. including international and if they dont know them once the name of the judge is announced in the shedule every competitor adds them on facebook!! we are trying to think of ways to prevent this happening as some put up albums of their dogs and their progeny and BAM all those dog were put up in a row... very dissapointing considering the time and effort that goes into a champ show and contracting international judges!! So i guess many of my reasons are much like everyone elses.. time, money, faces, dissapointment... etc... etc.. LOL
  6. the run down is huge so ill take a pic and upload it LOL lazy u ask?? YES yes i am bahahaha Ok here it is :D
  7. that shedule had several breeds on 2 days???
  8. oops u would think i would have who won the minor class right i was in it bahaha and sorry i missed the neuter! that class still confuses me hahaha i alwasy think but they finished run off why is there an adult in the ring?? then i click.. gets me everytime!!
  9. man it was HOT~~~ Grp 3~ Sunday BIG English Setter RUBIG GSP Baby golden Minor GSP Puppy Golden Junior Missed Inter as RU in group Aus Bred Missed maybe the GSP i think??? Open as BIG Saturday was also cleaned up by goldies and english springers!! was great to see soo many nice goldens go up all weekend the judges both commented on the quality!
  10. my goldie bitch is small- and at 8 months is 22kgs so i dont think 28kgs is alot for a golden really - i would still change her iet i HATE supercoat it is nasty rubbish... i feed nutro and love it, i also feed mince and i dont worry sbout calcium amounts as she gets raw meaty bones and also dry food so she has plenty in there :)tinned food is 80%water so ur wasting ur money on that, a cheap way to buymince is to get minced chicken frames my btcher sells it for 10kgs for 10 bucks! bargain!
  11. lol at train and tram idea?!!! not only do u have heaps of gear but dogs arnt allowed on either bahah
  12. i alwasy thought we knew where we were benched before we got there am i right?? or do we walk in the door and our spots are labelled?? i was so excited to see who im next to and im thinking nope lol
  13. i would offer goldens but i will need to set an alarm lol they arnt on the list in the first post but many breeds mentioned arnt so let me know if u would like me to send it through for u
  14. My golden girl Dallas had a huge weekend at Yea and District a few weeks back.. it was a golden pointscore show and her first show in minor puppy - she took out minor in group and resbcc and rubob!!!! sooo proud of her she was just 6and a half months and beat many MUCH older dogs so hopefully a sign of things to come
  15. the reason people seem to be hinting u are abusing ur dog is because it must be going slowly insane from bordom locked in a yard so she destroys things yes by all means give her a new home if u are unabe to give her what she needs but who knows this dog better then anyone but the breeder??? Hope the breeder has a good chat with u and u are able to sort something out for the dogs sake that suits everyone. ur worst option though is to rehome the dog before this is fully sorted as stated above u may be in a much worse spot then u started. hope it is all sorted very soon
  16. i vote for a pap!! i love them adn they are small but have alot of go in them real characters!!
