  1. I'd have to say the opposite here. My favourites are GSP's and my least favourites are Staffy's because my GSP has lost part of his ear to a Staffy. He was chasing his ball in the park when a staffy came from nowhere and chomped his ear. I had my grandson with me and he wont go out in the park with me anymore as it upset him so much.
  2. Whitehorse council allows 3 dogs without a permit.
  3. Got my numbers today. Its a bit frustrating that some rings change position from Sat to Sun. Means I will probably have to move my gazebo.
  4. Who went on to Best in Show! Big congratulations to Pauline!! Thanks Weisnjac. It was very exciting.
  5. Who went on to Best in Show! Big congratulations to Pauline!!
  6. My friends pointer Ch Ryll Rendovous CDX got BIS. I'm not sure if that is the correct spelling of his name, but well done to Kerry Winters. Rusty excells at obedience and also at the new retrieving RATG. He is an all around dog.
  7. Hi all. I found a pair of sunglasses at Bulla today in the grass carpark near the stall holders. If you can identify them I will bring them to the park on Sunday. Pauline
  8. I've heard of people leaving clothing out and coming back next day to find there dog snuggled up to it. Worth a try. Hope she is found soon.
  9. I think you need to find out what sets him off. I would be getting a referral to a specialist. Vets arent specialists, mind you some think they are.
  10. I have been using comfortis for 3 months on a toy dog. The first two months I thought he was a bit quiet the next day, but last time I didnt notice any difference. I was using frontline plus before that, but it just didnt work. Very happy with comfortis.
  11. She is just gorgeous. What a lucky dog to have you as an owner.
  12. Theres a lady in Melbourne who's great nephew shows a Westie. Great aunt takes a fold up step into the ring when it is nephews turn, and he stands on the step to lift his dog onto the table.
  13. It will be much better to get your limited register papers than join as an associate. If you join as an associate and your breed club runs a restricted to breed obedience or agility trial you probably wont be able to enter. Most breed clubs only allow entries from registered pedigreed dogs. Hang in there for the limited papers.
  14. Has anyone received their numbers for the Lancefield shows. My cheque has been presented for the the Central Highlands shows, but not for the Lancefield Kennel Club.
  15. Thanks, I will check them out as well. I hate leaving my dogs, but my son is getting married in NZ so I guess I had better go.
  16. Thanks Anamalia. I was considering that kennel. A few years ago I left my entire male there while his mum was in season. Unfortunately he got very stressed and they rang and asked me to come and get him. I'll give them a ring.
  17. Hi, I need to put my dogs in a kennel in March next year for approx 10 days. They have never been in a kennel before. I am leaving my older dogs home with a house sitter, but I feel it is too much to leave the youngsters at home as well. I live in the eastern suburbs of melbourne. One of my girls may be in season at that time, so need a kennel that can deal with that if necessary. I need a kennel that is experienced with large dogs as well as a toy dog. Recomendations greatly appreciated. I will go and check the kennels once I have some recommendations.
  18. Received my numbers today, but my cheque hasnt cleared yet.
  19. I have one that I bought and have never used. I am in Melbourne so it may be too expensive to send it.
