Today I re watched best in show ... A classic ! The guy and the hound hilarious as was the couple with the Wei I am in the middle of hotel for dogs !

At the end of mine I wasn't able to drive as I couldnt reach the steering wheel!! I wasn't able to stand in the shower I had to use a special chair.. Plus being so very tired... OMG mum of four I remember that ( twins are now 2 and a bit ) not to mention the kankles from hell !!! I am really not sure what to add that others haven't already said ... Let her read this . It's advice from others with out prejudice - I am all for a dog lover getting a dog ..... Circumstances need to be right for both human and dog , and this has stress all over it .

I had twins and a 2 and a half year old when they were born , honestly it's exhausting . And my husband was an awesome help , but you get one awake one asleep and you can't really establish good routines . And puppies love routine . I had a old lassie , and knew I wanted another dog . He passed Jan this year 15 years .Best move I made was getting a 2 year old Lab . Great with kids , housebroken, was able to cope with changing routines . Also towards the end of my twin pregnancy I was beyond exhausted , she will struggle to walk dogs . A decision not to rush into .

Just back from the Adelaide show ... First row Amazing ! I watched a lot of his tv show so I didn't learn heeps ...however he was educational and entertaining , not the slightest bit Pysical or over bearing , or over correcting . A great entertainer with a strong message about life , and an ideal advocate for " dangerous breeds " . I can't help but feel the media are not swarming over him because of his message regarding pit bulls , it's not the dog or the breed . I guess as he doesn't agree with the media hype they won't support him. A big shame because education could go such a long way .

Thats just terrible ... I wanted to add i had heard of similar situations (not in Adelaide though ) where dogs were baited before break ins - i know this has already been mentioned . Just mention it to your friend and be mindful of security.

Oh no Jed !! Have you put up posters , checked vets and pounds ?? I hope you have her returned safe very quickly .

Eeeek ... This is the scary kinda pet owner . Poor dog , it is a shame the "stupid cat can't desex itself " - get a clue lady !

The thing about dogs is most people don't want to admit they have made mistakes . Some just don't have a clue ... And some have no idea what to do about issues - and fail to acknowledge they they are the cause of issues in some cases. The laws maybe the way to go with this person ... But I would try to talk about the "pain in the ass" she already has and how some training / help is going to be best - to avoid new pup being in the same way ! And does she have time to exercise two dogs? ( I am thinking that by the sounds , dog number one probably doesn't get walked or if so maybe not enough ) . And even though she may not like the discussion - she will at least think about it .

PP , take a moment and put yourself in the breeders shoes . They work hard to research and dedicate themselves to a breed . Would you want your pup handed off to just anyone ?? Talk to them breeder , they may be reasonable - they may also be a bit pissed off at the situation , thinking they had placed the dog in a forever home . But the breeder deserves to know what happens to the dog. Above all else - do the right thing by the dog . Don't take that as a attack on you , if your situation has changed so be it ( it happens I'm sure ) don't make the dog pay for it.

How about rescue remedy , I think it's in chemist , calming blend .. Know a lady who used it on her rotti to calm down , worked well. If that fails there is always professional help .

Sorry to hear Jules ... At least for the moment looks like the diet is working , and she sounds happy . Hugs to u , enjoy her and spoil her all the more what ever time is left .
