  1. Look at the eyes....as if to say, "I know what you're up to."
  2. I've found a class/comps that seems interesting, but doesn't start till March so gives me time to muck about again and refresh myself. Thanks everyone for your support and links it's great.
  3. This is a picture I took and know with a better lens it would look better. Wasn't the best time of the year and the scrub would normally have purple flowers. I think not enough movement with it being a semi water shot. Tell me what you think, but with a smile.
  4. Thx Snook. I had seen the extension tubes, and wondered. I'm finding all the reading very frustrating, as the dyslexia does throw me. So I think it's going to be more hands on, make the mistakes and ask questions.
  5. Thx Pers, it's exactly what I need...... :D
  6. Hi Dolers Wondering how you got your experience? How would you suggest someone start learning about photography? Thx Sharon
  7. Thx piper............I so want one. Those pictures are great.
  8. Thx Tic and Piper. Appreciate all the input. I'm glad I asked, and the price would fit into my budget with the one you're using Piper. Birthday present I think....if I can wait that long.
  9. Thx for sharing. Great photos....... :)
  10. Hi Dolers What macro would you suggest for my digital Nikon D50? Yes money is an issue until lotto comes in. Thx Sharon
  11. Like everyone else has said, great but still a worry.
  12. Happy New Year All Would love to see your New Year photo's. Please share.......... Sharon :)
  13. This novice question might have been asked.- with the fisheye lens, you always get the picture with the frame around it?
  14. Thank you for your explaination Tic, greatly appreciated. :D And yes would love to hear from Nikon owners. I'm trying to learn more (not that I know much, lol) so this kind of help is great.
  15. How much would a decent macro lense cost for my Nikon? Just had a little google and it shocked me the prices. Suggestions of where to buy would be helpful also. I did think until this thread macro was the setting on my camera. Thx for the education. :)
  16. This is one of my favourite photo's I've taken. I think because it turned out totally different to what I expected.
  17. Most of them still visit. I had a cat, Sir Bastion who slept at the end of the bed generally between hubby and me. You can actually feel him there and see the imprint. Sounds odd, but it happens so often, even when I've been in hospital he's been there with me. I love it, very comforting.
  18. Best to be honest and up front. Wouldn't want to get somewhere, settle in and then asked to move because of a dog. Good luck....
  19. One of my favourite breeds, so much in springers.
  20. If it's not an infection, grab a spray bottle of 'urine off' from your pet store or vets. Removes the traces of past urine. Doesn't hurt to spray the floor around the cage also. Good luck Sharon
  21. Whilst she's outside and you see her urinate say, "Good Wee Wee." Then plenty of praise. Eventually she'll associate this with urinating and being good. When you have her inside, take her outside every 20-30 minutes. Give the command to leave the house and wait till she's about to urinate and once again praise when she's urinating. Keep doing this. Eventually she can told to 'wee wee' before coming inside, getting in the car, going for a walk etc. A very handy thing to teach. Her bladder from what I know will not stop developing till she's 6 months of age. Good luck Sharon :D
  22. How's his bowel movement? Restlessness is a symptom....
