ok so he mated my bitch on the monday and tied, nothing looked out of the ordinary (I dont intervine, just watch unless needed) then the next few days he would mount her, hump then just slide off like he was too tired, no slip or tie...I just put it down to the weather (hes from Switzerland, so humidity is crap for him) then he got quieter as the days pregressed, until yesterday when he didnt want to even go for a walk. He is still eating, will wag his tail for food etc...seems semi happy still, just flat. So I booked into my vet yesterday and after a poke around and health check (everything good and normal, temp etc) she said he had strained his perinium (part between the anus and ballsac) as he sqeals when you touch it. We are thinking he may have pulled it when he mated the bitch, although I didnt notice anything...? Has anyone had this before? he is on anti-inflams and needs to pick up by boxing day or back we go. Hes in a pen in the kitchen and I take hi out for toilet 3 times a day, but he seems to just want to sleep (and eat when I offer food, lol) Any thoughts welcome :D

How come beach st vets are sooo cheap?? wow, is $50 for consult and ultra?? eta: just made an appointment on the 13th~ cost is $47.25 for ultra by itself adn an extra $53 if you have a legnthy consult after. i just want the yes/no answer ;) thanks for that! eta again..booked in at same place (week before) my babies for vacc (@ 8 weeks) as they are cheap as well! lol i can see this lot will become my usual vet at these reasonable prices instead of Monsh

well it seems to have been too hot for my boy to get another tie with her, I may have got another slip but not sure....was going to AI her today but hes not interested at all today and she will sit when he has a sniff. Fingers crossed that one tie did the job,this is her last chance

Just explain you are very busy but puppy is doing well etc, nust shoot a quick email if you dont have time to upload a photo. we all love seeing and hearing about puppies we have bred. I hear from some of my owners and not from oothers.

BB! Tagged again! Put me in for the 22nd Feb, son came in this morning to tell me Skip and Tigga were tied together. YAY!!! I have been waiting and waiting for her to come in!! I only checked her vulva yesterday, no swelling ir bleeding...mmm must be another silent, strange, shes never h ad silents before and now has had two! At least the right dog got her! Awww such cute photos! Mine are 4 weeks on friday, ive only just introduced food to them today...more on paws then in faces! I have some pics on camera to put up later. All 3 are fat llittle piggies and Ive gave mum a good grooming yesterday too :rolleyes:
