  1. Ohhh even better. I shall buy myself a spare one. Shame, as I would have liked red and black .
  2. Rule with a firm but kind hand and you won't have to worry about unwanted behaviour. If you want him to mature into the best dog that he can be, handsome and masculine, then neuter him when he has finished growing.
  3. Not a chance - its just some fanatics beating up a way to get donations. Yep, they call it "Oscars Law " but there's no draft legislation, just their own rantings
  4. Register your dogs and this new legislation won't apply. At least if they are registered as something, anything will do, there will be the current due process to follow , whatever that may be in VIC and your dog can't simply be seized and destroyed.
  5. I looked in Bunnings today and couldn't find anything at all similar I did but they were a lot more than the 31.30 I paid
  6. Last quote I did about 8 months ago was close to $1400
  7. It arrived today. I thought that was pretty good going and good service, considering Australia Post was involved
  8. I'd do it and get it all over and done with. Depending on the reason for the c-section, she may not need one again.
  9. I'd like to see more responsible pet owners, not a % increase in the number of pets.
  10. I'd be taking my puppy to a chiro, if dropped. It's so easy for them to be out in the neck or the back after a fall and making sure they are in alignment is important when it comes to their growth.
  11. I think some pollies really need to learn the difference between " dangerous" and " restricted ". I doubt anyone would want not want legislation pertaining to " dangerous " dogs, there has to be some laws and punishments applicable to the owners of an animal that causes injury or death . A suggestion for the Fed's would be to get the states to repeal BSL and to bring in national laws regarding " dangerous " dogs. Then we might get somewhere.
  12. Not likely that the Fed's will get it right either...
  13. The only thing I'd change , would be to add a lamb flap or part of a roo tail, every couple of days, rather then the chicken necks. He would be fine for two meals a day , so I'd go one meal of dry with sardines , egg or whatever and your next meal a raw one. Alternate your red and white meats and make sure the bone is able to be consumed. I no longer raise pups on puppy dry, they are weaned straight onto adult formula and have never looked better. No growth issues, there feet have stayed tight and they have matured nicely.
  14. They can be ID'd with DNA testing? That's news to me! DNA test away, if they want to BITSA everything that comes through the RSPCA, I think they'll find they are really bitsa's
  15. I doubt 3% would be accurate, let alone 30 100% meatasaurus here
  16. I always thought the word " English" , in front of "Staffy " or "Staffordshire" , was a term used by the common numpty.. It has now been confirmed.
  17. I wouldn't top them up at all, unless they go backwards when weighed. They will drop weight in the first couple of days and they should then start gaining. Rotate the pups and make sure no one gets pushed aside. Look after the bitch and there's every chance she'll do all of the work and look after the pups. I've found a combination of either milk powder or veanavite, combined with an egg and water keeps the bitches hydrated and the milk supply coming. If you get desperate and have to supp some of the pups, go with Animalac, they gain better on that , then they do on biolac or divetalac.
  18. I hope it wasn't one of yours Anna-Lee, I'd be freaking horrified if a CC decided to upgrade one of my pets, without consent.
  19. Yes, mine did well on Enduro but the place where I got it from doesn't have it any more Uncle Albers didn't agree with my fussy miss midget (she hates Royal Canin too so Uncle Albers shouldn't feel slighted) Not tried Bonnie, may do so yet. Using Black Hawk at the moment but I find it puts on too much weight (have adjusted the quantities) instead of muscle. That's what I found. I couldn't keep them hard, even though they continued with the 5k's a day and swimming twice a week. They went backwards and started to look like soft pets.
  20. I'd sooner feed my dogs Chum than shop at PP. Pity because Evo looks like a good product. Rumour has it, that the exclusive with PP will soon be at an end and if I remember correctly Nestle has purchased the company . I could be wrong but last I heard, we might see Evo within th next 12-18 months.
  21. Has anyone used these guys ? if so what was the service like. I'm shopping around for a large Greyhound 27mm pin brush and they appear to have the best price and postage was more than reasonable. If anyone can find a Greyhound for less than $35.95 plus $5 postage I'd like to know. I'm also after a plush puppy pin brush. Where's the cheapest to buy those from ? http://australiandogcentresupplies.businesscatalyst.com/Home.htm
  22. same as Sway linked on ebay but I bid, rather than buy it now. There are a few more coming up.
  23. Did you get that one sorted Steve ?
