  1. The vet said they are getting it from the ground, one dog is sick, another sniffs it, and is sick - A collar would stop the dog being able to do that? I got somepoweraid into him before bed,and he has slept till now. He is outside being sick, but he got something in his tummy a few hours ago, so i am feeling a bit better about it. Will try him again after this spew, and with any luck will sleep till 6am!
  2. I only have one vid on youtube, : Yeah, i missed a dog! I have a few more, all of molly, if i get a chance i will upload them and there are my cows i found on the way there... was a good day, wish i could have watched sunday as well. But had to head home. I love flyball, wish i could trust kaos enough to do it Molly was fantastic! I was very proud of her! She just looked sooooo little going over the jumps! ETA: after watching the day, i think a lot of people need to stop and think before acting. I saw a lot of pissed off owners out there, ones who got the shits cause their dogs didnt do the right thing, then when they did, they didnt even bother to praise them! There are people out there watching, enjoying the day who walk away with a bad idea of what flyball is
  3. He hasnt eaten in 2 days. Vet said to start him on something light. Rice and chicken. He is on Anti bios, but vet also said they may not do any good Just talked to mum, will see how he is in the morning, she will come and get him and crate him at her house for the day. Reg the water, he isnt drinking much, just a little at a time, like sticking his nose in and out (ever seen a Bull Terrier drink? they all do the same thing ) He also does not have a temp. I am going to have to go to bed soon, 2 nights i have been up with him, he is outside being sick now, so hoping he gives me a bit of time before needing to be sick again (yeah, would love to kick him out for the night, but i need to know how bad he is) Sorry if i sound grumpy or snappy, just so bloody tired of this Thanks everyone
  4. Nope. (i know, he is strange) I have tired it and nothing, no interest at all I can get him to drink the water, but its keeping it down thats the problem. Unless i hang him up so he cant throw it up?? This is sooo frustrating, i cant afford to iv him, I will if it comes to it, but i really just wish he would get better, hate seeing him sick
  5. Not interested in them He has never liked them, i tried shoving one in his mouth, and he spat it out. I have to work tomorrow and can not take him (kennel), but if he is sick again, i might see if i can crate him in the boss;s house for the day, dont want him alone
  6. 'heaps of dogs at work use them, the 2 male bull terriers LOVE them, one broke it the other day! We have had an Irish wolfhound who went nuts for it! Cant wait to get one
  7. I have had Atlas sick since Saturday He hasnt been himself, and Monday night he was up sick ALL night, last night he was up a few times, and has been sick again today. Went to the vets today, said there is a bad bug going around, if i cant get him to keep water down, he will end up on an IV. He has lost weight, but is still hungry, but spews it all up again after eating. any ideas??
  8. I thought the pug was black carded because of the way it was handled? I was in the crowd and a lot of people were upset by the way it was scruffed. Was a good day, got to meet some dolers, and met Molly and Eddie.. oh, and shoey...
  9. So sorry for your loss He was a wonderful dog. thank you for allowing me to be there at the end. RIP Chop
  10. We have these at work, and Atlas LOVES them... but... He doesnt understand that you use your mouth... he keeps headbutting it and hitting it with his paws.... Will have to find out what size the ones at work are, as i will need the same size! I wil be getting one as soon as i can afford it!
  11. Yep, they expect you to get a heap of books, I am not a fan of Delta at all, i have had a huge fight with people from there about a few things rolleyes: I actually signed up to do it, but 2 weeks before i pulled out. I was also doing visits to nursing homes with Atlas, and dropped out of that. I wont support them in any way now.
  12. Once a day? Find a good kennel! We run dogs at least 3 times a day when flat out, each dog gets one on one time with a person, be that playing, brushing or just hanging out on the grass together. We just had a Wolfhound go home after 5 weeks with us. He didnt know how to sit when he showed up, he has gone home with sit, drop, wait (for food) and sometimes stay! Good kennels will look after your dog and will give it the attention it needs
  13. 2 and a bit years it has taken me to 100% trust my Stafford inside. She could go for a few nights with nothing, then i would get up one morning to see she had pooped. I crate trained, but the second i let her have run of the house, she went to the loo  Thankfully i have had a few months with nothing, she has had run of the house at night and wakes me when she has to go out My Bull Terrier is 5 this year, and he has only ever gone to the loo inside once, and that was when he was sick. Good luck!!
  14. Atlas is on Nutrience, Holistic. Kaos is as well at the moment, but only till i can get down town to find another brand to get her, she does well on everything, so will prob take her back to supercoat. Had them on nutro, they liked the first 2 bags, then nutro had a bad batch come through, dogs hated it, i wont touch the stuff now. I also had them on Bonnie , and they were so hungry the whole time! I had to feed them so much of it They get fresh meat every day, chicken, beef , fish and sometimes roo, they get a big bone whenever i have 2 days off and am not doing anything (have to keep an eye on them) they get chicken frames once a week, and vegies and raw eggs.
  15. Why the (!) after the Golden Retriever? They are a dog and just as likely to attack and bite as any other breed. Do any of you ring rangers when dogs are off lead? If it is the same dog each time, get the rangers number, and ring them every time you go out. I did this, after a week the dog is no longer out roaming and scaring people and dogs.
  16. Please try to get him to go Kaos will not go on a lead, because of this she has suffered UTIs. We went from NSW to WA and back, she held on for 18 hours 2 days in a row, and 15 hours the other days, she actually collapsed as she peed because she held on so long, God she was sick
  17. that is a lot to pay for a X breed mutt People make me sick. did you ring the "breeder" and talk about them? I still dont get why they would cross these 2 breeds??
  18. a Cross cross breed. Why did they cross the two dogs? We have an Aussie and i have seen a few Americans, is it common to breed larger dogs to smaller dogs?
  19. I would be ringing the breeder and asking for advice. I am sure they can help you in some way. See if the dog was doing it with them, and what they did to handle the problem (if it did do it before).

    Rip Storm

I am so sorry  RIP little one
  21. Look into BSL NOW - Know your rights before you get a knock on the door, you could loose both dogs because they are bull breeds. Keep the dogs apart from each other when you are not around, i would never trust two males together. what did the breeder say when you told them what the dog was doing? What advice did they give you? I am sure someone will come along and give you some info that may help, but until then do a search of DOL and see what you come up with. Also visit the EDBA and the BSL forums.
  22. I am so sorry RIP Little man
