Wow, i can not believe it has been just over 2 years

If i feed bones i will seperate my dogs, and have noticed the same thing, the BT will growl at the Staffy when they are put back together. But when i feed them normally, they are a few meters apart and are fine. I ALWAYS stand there till they finish, or Atlas will steal Kaos's food. But they dont growl at each other.

I have had one 8 weeks and one 16 weeks, the yboth settled in fine :cool:

I use a water bottle with Atlas, I love my water bottle, it doesnt even have water in it anymore he sees it and bolts I am trying to think, is there anything the man can get hold of that makes a different noise then something you would normally hear? maybe he could use something and teach the dog that that noise means no? So instead of saying NO, he will make the noise?

At would have been 10 weeks, and kaos was a bit older, 16 weeks. Bullies, both of them!!

I wish i knew how you felt, both my dogs were put in time out at puppy pre school.. They were both bullies Atlas tried to hump anything that came near him and wanted to play ROUGH, Kaos wanted to eat everything, she did become friends with one other dog, but even then she was playing to rough and was put in time out. I want a nice quite dog next....

no no no, my old Vet said he gets a LOT of dogs in from eating smoked bones. Both mine spent a night in the vets after eating one, they got VERY sick (throwing up, the runs, not eating or drinking) . i wont feed them to my dogs now! Not sure what it is about them that makes them sick, but yet, vet said he sees it a lot, even more around chrstmas (ham bones)

He has bucket, bucket wont stop feet getting wet think i have worked it out, thanks Warley! havent tried it yet, he has been inside all afternoon

how long does it take for everything to wear off? I am sick of sitting outside in the rain while he is spewing Last time he went under for something the same thing happened, WHY didnt i remember that and ask for a different drug? ;) He wants to go into his crate, but i dont want him in there, as i cant get him outside when he is sick - i dont have enough bedding to change the crate over 100 times :)

My dogs often have kitty litter snacks, but i use natural litter, so no idea? honestly, i wouldnt worry if it was me, but if you are, i would ring the vets and see waht they say and let us know!

thanks I am starting to shit myself, he goes in 8 am wednesday. There is NO WAY Atlas will leave bandages alone, so a bucket is a must. If i can, i will take it off when i am with him, just to give him a rest, but when i am not here, it will be on

CC - I also let my dogs sleep on the bed, BUT i dont have problems with them trying to be top dog. Atlas was kicked out of bed a while back for a few months, he went through a stage of challenging me, so the first thing i did was put him in his own bed. Things are sorted now and he is back in bed, i dont see any harm, if you dont have problems with your dogs! Why is putting things up not an option? I think some dogs just chew things more than others. If you have a chewer then you need to make sure she can't get to anything that you don't want chewed. When not supervised the only area of the house that our dogs have access to is our kitchen/family room. We keep this room pretty bare and we run with a clean bench policy as anything on them is fair game. In our house, if either of the dogs chew something that they are not supposed to, the person who left it lying around gets told "well that was stupid of you wasn't it" Ditto! As nearly everyone knows here, i have Atlas, an almost 4 year old Bull Terrier, and he eats anything and everything he can. 4 years and i still cant get him to stop, it is just him and what he does. EVERYTHING is put out of reach, if i forget something and he eats it, it is my fault, not his - i know what he is like and well, if i dont put things away, they get eaten ( i too have lost a few mobile and cordless phones, and my TV remote 2 weeks ago ) My dogs are NEVER left inside alone, even if it is just while i am having a shower. They both get crated if i am ducking out for a short time, or put outside. Dogs have to earn trust, and if the dog is chewing everything, it should not be left alone! Build a dog proof run, if you cant be with your dog, she goes out there, teach her to use a crate and get her to sleep there at night, put everything of yours out of reach and start teaching her she can not jump on tables. I would also be getting her desexed ASAP

Do NSW have bandanas too? I never have used a bandana on mine, but have had people comment on how pretty the prong is! They dont seem to see the prongs, but just the patten of the steel!

Mine has also came off, it was only once, so i am just guessing that I didnt do it up right? I have heard someone else say they use a second collar, how and what sort would you use?
