he was vaccinated with protech C3 if that helps. its very confusing all this! for the 16 week one can you still take the puppy out after 12 weeks? dont think i could cope an extra month of trying to keep him entertained without having him at the beach or doggy park!!

I have spoken to my breeder about it and i dont feel the need for this 9 week one?! i agree with the kennel cough also! the women i spoke to the first time that said about the titer test made me want to vacc there as they seemed like they wouldnt over vaccinate like the other vet i use for my bunnys! well my breeder doesnt give the 16 week, booster at a year and a yearly after that and then she says its up to me if i want to continue boosters or titer test then decide. I will phone up a few others and see what they say about it and then decide what to do, Thanks :D

Hello so my RR pup was vacc at breeders at 7 weeks with C3 and before i had phoned my local vet an they said he would need vacc once again at 12 weeks as they dont believe in over vaccinating after titer testing research, anyway phoned the same vet but got another receptionist and she says he needS C5 at 9 weeks and again at 12 weeks??? confused!!!! help

Hello ! Just purchased our little boy ridgeback pup, Hes had his first vacc, and WAS booked into puppy school to start tonight, but now they phoned and cancelled due to not enough puppy numbers! so annoyed but anyway have phoned up and booked elsewhere starting next wed! so looking forward to that, however only know a few people with adult dogs, and wondered if anyone out there has a little pup who wants to come round and play/vice versa. or know of anywhere i can take him other than puppy school like do you get puppy play dates anywhere?? thanks PLEASE PLAY WITH ME!!

aww thats so exciting!! for the 4 weeks after we first seeing them i was dying to get him home! my boyf was like thats all you go on about haha. our boy is non stop on the go!! gettin his nose into everything but think all puppys are like that, he sleeps right through from 12 to about 6am which is sooo good thought id be up more in the night. Also our breeder has told us to change him to blackhawk adult instead of the puppy because the boy pups are growing too fast, but your breeder will sort all that for you too. TBH. the breeder has done alot towards how he is now, because he whines to get out into the garden when he needs, no accidents!! but to start with we were taking him out after sleeping, about fifteen mins after hes had drink and his brkf,lunch,dinner. we also started leaving him alone the day after we got him only for an hr and then 2 hrs yesterday, we have put a baby gate up and leave him in the laundry! we have a doggy door but hes not old enough to be left free roam in our garden yet. Ive also been putting him in the laundry when ive been doing housework, he loves chasing the vacuum and the sweeper brush!! think leaving him in their when we're still here is making it easier for him to be alone when were not here, his first long day alone will be thursday when we leave him for 6 hours!! wish us luck lol cant wait to see pictures of your little one!! xx

yeah hes some boy! aw thanks his grandads called Kobe and his dads called Robbie so was a mix of the two as best we could do as we wanted to call him Kobe :p

So this is Kobie our little monster, just wanted to share him with the forum, posted some pics before but they werent the best, he is such a cutie!! and was pick of the litter! so after going to dog show with his breeder, have decided to give him a go!! should be an experience for him and me!! both learning together! excited <3 uuuh so i have more photos but it says their too big how do i fix this?!

Heres our little dude, Kobe, pick him up on friday! Pictures arent that good as it was my phone camera but will get more up when hes home!! so glad breeder chose him for us as we had our eye on him from when we visited at 4 weeks. Hes one of the more outgoing and brave of the litter, hes the one whos been digging holes in her garden!! fun times ahead! :)

Meet Kobe our new rhodesian ridgeback pup. Pick him up friday! so glad breeder picked him for us, had our eye on him from when we seen them all at 4 weeks! Thats him in the middle snoozing beside toy! Hes the most outgoing and confident of the litter including a couple of others! Let the fun begin :-) already booked into puppy school in 2 weeks!

Hello! just wanted to ask opinions about which puppy food is best for the ridgeback puppy were bringing into our lives at start of jan!, id love to feed part raw but not full raw diet because dont want to get it wrong so wanted to feed kibbles too, Ive been looking at Artemis Med/Large Breed or Innova Large Breed puppy, or Holistic select and was going to try out blackhawk but read somewhere there is too much calcium in there for a large breed puppy? Ahhh too much choice!! i need help also whats everyones views on BARF? any help would be much appreciated! x
