  1. Thanks lovely, I will find out tomorrow afternoon...doing puppy research is the only way to distract myself from hoping and hoping and hoping haha
  2. So it's been 4 years since I've had a puppy so I forget - at what age do pups have their vaccinations, worming and anything else?
  3. I would just keep sneaking them in when the neighbours aren't looking and if for some reason they ask where the dogs are at night just say you've been crating them. I have been renting for at least 10 years (finally brought a house!)and have lived in places with 3 dogs when the lease has stated no dogs. It was risky but I got away with it by taking them to my parents on inspection day. Even recently, we have 5 dogs but on the lease we only listed 2.
  4. OMG he's too stinkin' cute! I have a boxer (among others) but when buying him, our other choice would have been an american bulldog
  5. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand he's healthy!!!
  6. Still waiting on the results - he had his op on monday to remove the lump....we're hoping for hystiocytoma (spelling?) over mast cell tumour - should hopefully hear today
  7. Thanks guys. One of our other dogs had the exact same thing. We had the lump removed just to be safe
  8. Maybe the SBT owner hasn't seen the Facebook page? Too busy grieving? The bull arab owners could also be lying, not saying they are of course because it's all hearsay but I'm just saying, it's not necessarily true.
  9. Well it was as I expected. It's either a histiocytoma or a mast cell tumor. He's getting surgery on Monday to remove it.
  10. Our vet loves our boxer - he had to amputate his tail a couple of years ago due to injury, that would have been an interesting procedure to watch. He's such a sweetie too, will generally try and give us medicine for free or at a cheaper rate :) Wish all vets were like him
  11. Woah that's pretty cool they let you assist. I used to work as a dog groomer years back and it was adjoined to a vet and at the time I had an interest in being a vet nurse (I was 17) so they let me stand in while they de-sexed a female dog....THAT was cool :) Kinda gross too though haha
  12. Oh that's good Teekay, i'm hoping for something simple like that Thanks Persephone!!
  13. He does love to sun himself - as long as it's not malignant I don't care what it is. He's not even 4 yet
  14. Thanks so much. Our SBT x daxi had a lump on his tummy a couple of years ago that was a suspected mast cell tumour but turned out to be ok. Is Jenna alright? I'm hoping it's an irritated wart or something simple, my gut is telling me it will have to be surgically removed though
  15. So last night we were playing with our boxer when we noticed an ugly red lump on his back. We are going to try to get in with the vet this afternoon but wanted to post some pics to see if anyone has any suggestions
  16. The bull arab & ridgeback broke through their gates to get to the staffies!! I've tried finding the news story but can't locate if. I saw if on channel 9 though
  17. I am waiting very impatiently to find out if my puppy is "in the oven" but seeing all these photos makes the wait easier!
  18. Oh really? Maybe if he was a child it would have had more? I feel sorry that the bull arab was PTS, it's not his fault.
  19. I should add that the fence almost looked like it was made from colourbond type stuff and the dogs busted through that! Did anyone else see it? It bothers me also, that the news story was less than 5 mins long. A dog lost it's life....if this was a human child it would be on every news station again and again - an animals life is no less important than a humans IMO
  20. They said that the neighbours had been worried about both dogs for a while, long before pups were around. It's sad for all parties. I wish I didn't see it, the lady was understandably devastated
