My comment was in relation to that one sentence only and regarding life generally. Living in Inner Sydney sadly makes you cynical. I see it all around me . People do whatever it takes to survive.

Everyone is getting too old and cynical these days. It's a sign of the times.

I thought the usual recovery time was 6 weeks even without surgery. In fact I thought it may take even longer with conservative treatment. There was a Vizla near that went through the conservative treatment i.e. no surgery and it took quite a while . They kept the dog crated a lot of the time but in the end it worked perfectly.

Is Local Council obliged to inform complainants exactly what action they took in relation to regulatory breaches. Like if the offending dogs owners were fined, how much were they fined or if the dog has been declared a nuisance or menacing dog. I'm fairly sure they have to inform all parties if the dog has been declared a Dangerous Dog but otherwise they just say " the appropriate regulatory action has been taken". Apparently one has to get their lawyer to apply under Freedom of Information( GIPA) and that also is likely to be unsuccessful.

I just heard on the tv news the owner says the dog is a mix of Jap spitz and pomeranian.

I thought it looked like a Keeshond dog.
