  1. K9: Thanks again everyone for the kind words, and the sales guys, we had miles of stock and it is dropping fast, we had to order more sooner than expected, as I said we will definately honour any discount even if we need to back order.

We will also be at the time of our first newsletter, releasing STAGE TWO!

    Keep your eyes peeled!!!!

    :thumbsup::) ;) ;)

    Just placed my order :happydance:

Will the website show if item is out of stock?

  2. I found some conflcting and confusing info when looking at fish oil for my pugs - eventually got the doggy specialist at the referral centre here in Adelaide to give me the correct dose.

1000 mg per 10kg dog weight (per day) for general wellbeing - up to double that per day for a dog with heart problems.

He told me I could give my 9 kg pug between 1000mg and 2000mg per day safely.

I dont know what too much would be, but you are certainly not over dosing your dog at the level you are giving them now.

thanks for the info. While I knew fish oil was good for dogs overall I had never really checked into if it was a safe supplement to give on a regular basis(ie everyday)

  3. Can I ask why you are feeding the fish oil capsules? I'm familiar with feeding glucosomine capsules etc. but not fish oil.

One dog has an autoimmune disease which was giving her an ongoing dry cracked nose and vet said to increase oils in her diet.I did aslo give her flaxseed oil as well at the same time but have since swapped to vit e and has done the trick.Other dog has a bit of arthritis as well as fish oil being good for thier coats

  4. one of my gsd's has had a lump for a week or so now and I was just thinking I'd better get her to the vet after reading another recent thread but today after her bath I noticed it had a small head so I couldn't resist squeezing either. Now everytime she comes over for a pat I'm checking it again to see if it needs another squeeze

My other girl had these quite reguarly but this one has never had any before

  5. Could there be a neck problem with the poodle and thats why they have the harness?

Must admidt I am in the highest level at my obedience club and have also on ocassions had my gsd in a harness.I found it easier to have a small tab lead attached to it when doing off lead work should I need to grab it for any reason rather than trying to find it around a fluffy neck

  6. I currently own 2 of the K9 soft crates(1 of each style)

One of the crates stays permantely up inside but the other one is for in the car so is reguarly getting folded down.On the last trip when I went to get it out of the car I noticed one of the grey slidey things that you slide across and the buttons pop through to keep the frame erect has broken so crate was folded in a bitt. This crate also has some small holes in the base of it from being dragged around over pavers when I was too lazy to fold it up and would just store still errect

I know I can buy the grey plastic bit as a replacement and also a new cover if needed but just wondering if any other brand of soft crates may have metal parts like the slide bits that has broken on mine?

Just thinking it might be cheaper to buy a new one than buy replacement parts

  7. My parents have a gsd that tends to get ear problems from the humidity.Mum rang a while ago and dog has sore ears again and there reg vet is not there today.I know they were given a small container a while back with malaseb shampoo and directions on it but apparently the directions have faded from getting wet so just wondering if anyone can tell me the correct rate for mixing for ears and the times per day to do it please
