    Asher

I am so sorry for your loss Bella, we will be thinking of you and your family in the days to come. RIP Asher
  2. I tried an infin8 on my grey and found it kept riding up into his eyes because there is no stop between nose and eyes to encourage it to stay in the right place (yes it was fitted correctly). I have seen it work successfully on other breeds, it just didn't seem right for the angles of a greys head.
  3. I had a similar problem and the only effective remedy I found was prevention by putting up a double fence a meter back from the original fence line. I'm not home all day to correct him so the only chance I had would have been at night when he is in with us anyway.
  4. I had my greyhound and whippet both on advance through the vital puppy and growth periods and I really liked it and felt it worked well for them. Before I settled on advance I tried science diet and RC, the whippet wouldn't eat either. She went off Eukanuba after a couple of weeks, which I was told was common by the lady at the food shop because it is a bit oily. I also really really liked pro plan, the advance was just better value for money for us. If they are doing well on advance then stick to it - as people say the best food for your dog is the one the dog does best on.
  5. I use a pro stop harness for my greyhound. He was never a huge puller, he is just a big boy with a big passion for cats, and there are dozens running around here. For safetys sake I have to be able to hold him if he gets excited enough to try to lunge or take off. The harness seems to have drilled in the walking nicely principle and he walks beautifully on a martingale as well. I tried an infin8 but they just don't work on the greyhound head, there is no bridge to stop it riding straight into their eyes.
  6. I don't know if he is a gsd person as such, I just know he does alot of leather work for GSD people for shows. I have an e mail address- I liked the look of a friends lead so I got his address, e mailed what I wanted then he made it and posted it to me. Did a great job too, it would have been very difficult to make. PM me if you want contact details.
  7. I got one custom made by a guy who makes leather GSD show leads. I looked around a quite bit and had no luck- I was specifically after one with a buckle on the martingale loop.

I am so sorry for you loss Kristie, I'll be thinking of you and your family. RIP Barker
  9. Lure coursing significantly increased drive in one of my dogs and not the other. I guess it depends on the dog.
  10. I use the fidos puppy and kitten shampoo and the nice smell stays for a few days.
  11. The next lure coursing is at KCC Park on March 18 from 4pm. Info here: http://members.optusnet.com.au/ashtar1/lco...coursedates.htm
  12. Hedds- I am so sorry for your loss. As Anne said she couldn't have had a better life that one with you. RIP Jem EFS
  13. He looks fine to me too. I saw a fit, muscly, defined lab the other day- I had to look twice, he was stunning! I considered stopping the car and complimenting the owner but decded against it TO- I know how you feel You have no idea how many dirty looks and comments I get about not feeding my dog enough- Its a greyhound! They are supposed to be that way!
  14. There's no way I will make it at 5pm. If it changes back to 2 or earlier can someone let me know? Shooey? Mum has dial up so I can't check back
