  1. Yep, print offs from the computer are allowed Just remember to sign it prior to sending And remember to cut them to the original entry cheque book size. This is so that they are easier to handle if they are all the one size.
  2. Hi, the scores for the indiv exercises are 30 pnt heel on lead and like all of our heelwork it includes the figure 8. 10 pnt S.F.E 20pnt Recall The distance that the dog does the recall is approx 10 metres and you return around the dog 20pnt 1 minute sit stay 20pnt 2 minute down stay, both stays are done at an approx distance of 6 metres; And in Novice which is all off lead, you have a choice of exercises of either the Change of Position or Retrieve on the Flat. Also the distance for the recall is at approx 12 metres and the dog returns to heel. The stays are done at approx 12 metres as they are was in the old rule book The best thing that you can do is get a current rule book and study it. Hope that this helps

  5. Smart lady! I didn't have that option and since I was there, thought I better support the club Not so smart as I was trialling at Werribee's trial in similar conditions ( and a couple of other hot trials) Whilst Tux is willing to work in the heat, I am not so keen. And yes Aussie Sheps are addictive. I have 3 as LP knows. As for my brag, my oldest aussie (aged 11yrs) remembered how to retrieve the dumbell and do a short heel pattern for me. Not like when I was in the Veterans class back in Augusts ( the Fundraiser Trial) where she did the pattern once and then when asked to do it again, laid down and crossed her legs and said I've done it once, go and do it on your own. What a hoot and a good sense of humour.
  6. Well Done LP and Leo, roll on 2008 Sorry I opted to stay home due to the weather.
  7. Have you practised any of the techniques or are you waiting to finish the book? I have started re-teaching Abbie to go to a mat the way it says in the book. He stay on her mat at home as deteriorated drastically because of certain people not enforcing it (*cough* dad *cough* ) so I thought I may as well teach it again (with a different command and different mat). I like the way McDevitt teaches 'go to place' so the dog loves the mat, not so the dog knows it has to be there but does not want to. T(AD)pole - it's a good game until you tell the dog 'mat' and the dog and mat go flying across the room because of the enthusiasm they land on it ;) ;) Kallistar The book is Control Unleashed; Leslie McDevitt..... http://www.agilityclick.com/prod158.htm I received mine about a week ago and hope to start reading it soon.... life has been hectic of late ;) Thank you. Will look out for it. LP
