Mine are completely food motivated, but sounds like you are doing the right thing with the toy, as long as the click is at the right time and the tug comes just after Well done!!!! Very cute bow!!!

Yeah but you have to dance with the dogs! Start practising your rock steps!!!

Yeah Molly is keen! The video seems to be a little out of sinc with the audio, but she is also very fast! And she just throws herself into it! She is a funny bugger You will love freestyle, and trick training, you can't stop laughing the whole time!!!
-
haha yeah they are as adorable as they are insane!!! Oh, I taught a young girl at training today to get her anatolian shepherd to roll over, it was so gorgeous!!! And she picked it up really fast, clever girl, was laying on her side within 2-3 goes and rolling over after about 10 goes The girl was wrapt too, and it was fun for me, I've never taught anyone anything before!!!

I have 2 dogs and 3 cats We introduced Ed as an 8 week old pup to the cats We clipped the ends of their claws off with human nail clippers, which was easy to do, to save any injuries Eddie is completely fine with the cats Molly was introduced at 8 months, on a lead, she still chases them abit but is getting there The cats always have somewhere to get away, to jump up to, and they have a baby gated room to run away to Oh and good luck with training, it will be fun!!!

lol I may have a video of me when I get it, the camera battery died on Friday night after our routines so we haven't seen them yet If it looks any good I will show you In the thread in training called "roll over" I just put some vids of them doing waves and roll overs, whcih are part of the routine if you want to see!!!
-
OK, Eddie doing roll over and some waves Molly strutting her stuff She is very enthusiastic

No probs Mrs D, I love doing it with Molly! I hadn't heard of it until a few months ago when one of the girls at obedience was showing me some tricks that her dog can do, I was impressed and she told me about freestyle Its great because the dogs really enjoy it
-
Molly's song is Jet, Are you gonna be my girl It really suits her

Getting Rid Of Nerves

Wow, Aus, thankyou ;), some great advice which I will take on, I think with all the pressure of "competition" it is easy to lose the real reason for training -

Be a good idea, as you won't be stressed as you know you don't need it, and then you can compare vids to see -
She's still young, sometimes it just takes a while, and then just when you think they've got it, they have a slip up!!! I would still try a crate, it is their bed, different to the carpet
