  1. Anyone have group 2 results?? Well done to Pointernut's today! Runner up in Group with their Pointer girl Turnix Sin City, from the Puppy Class and they also won Baby in Group with their new baby Oliver
  2. Good luck to everyone! I look forward to seeing some results
  3. I'm sure there are much better way's of doing it! When I was helping out, the entries were completly seprate from the envelopes. It made it a very frustrating afternoon!! I'd just rather save the hassle and just put in an extra envelope.
  4. I used to send one when we were showing dogs in different names, until I helped out our show sec with 800 + entries and we had owners names that didn't match envelopes. It was a pain!! We had to go back through and check addresses on entries to figure out which number to put in which envelopes. After that I used to either send two envelopes or I wrote both names on the one envelope.
  5. Thanks for posting the results! Well done to Pointernuts on their Puppy in Group with Olivia! Lovely weather for showing, spewing I didn't enter now, especially since I found out there was only 1 JRT entered Bugger!
  6. I just heard the JRT was Ch Whatajack Im On Fire. Well done to Gary Butler & Spike!

  8. Woooo Hoo!! Way to go Casey!! Do you know if any Jacks went through in Group?? I heard that Kerri's Puppy Bitch won Best of Breed, didn't know if she went any further.
  9. I sent one text through too but I was just trying to be a smart arse and beat the others Congrats to all the winners!!
  10. Siberian Husky - Dog CC / BOB - Ch Cannoyland Black Crusade Res Dog CC - Gr Ch Illahee Dantes Inferno Bitch CC / RUBOB - Gr Ch Suthanlites Fireworx Bitch CC - Ch Utopialand U R On Fire This was posted earlier, must be a mistake on the results page.
  11. Not true. The public were walking through all day
  12. I've honestly never been told it was not the done thing! The time I see it most is when the shows are inside, there are always people in the rings before the show, during breaks, after the groups, not just having a practice but taking photo's and just having a play. I have never seen anyone asked to leave the ring, except for when the judge has come back from a break.
  13. We don't have many sweepstakes in Vic and training a puppy at the show is much different to training at home. Here I see people training before the show starts, during lunch breaks and after the group is finished. I've never seen anyone be told off for it before.
  14. Edited: Gwen went to the vet today and has a certificate that she did not have KC, she has a slightly inflamed ear which the vet thinks could have caused the irritation. I've been given drops and the vet seems to think she will be all clear by Monday. There is hope yet!
  15. From the bottom of the entry form - that you have to sign and declare that you are telling the truth... I certify that this exhibit has not within the said period of three months been in a kennel affected with Distemper, Canine Hepatitis, Parvo Virus or any other contagious or infectious disease and that during the last twelve months prior to the date of this Show the dog was vaccinated. seems pretty straight forward to me. What happens to exhibitors that break these rules? Why don't they get reported? Not on the bottom of my forms it doesn't . The VCA have been asked and have said they can continue once they have been checked by a vet. Perhaps there needs to be a set rule so people know what is expected of them.
  16. I tried that, but no cough. Not sure if I am doing it correctly or not. Won't get my hopes up until I've seen the vet.
  17. She did nearly choke herself at Bairnsdale the other week, and has been snorting a bit when the lead gets too tight. I might take her to the vet to get checked out.
  18. Well Gwen hasn't coughed in over 24hrs so I don't know whats going on . I've never had them cough for 2 days then stop completly. Hopefully this means she won't pass it on to the other dogs at home.
  19. Thanks Flaves. I've only heard Gwen cough once this morning, nothing since. I'm hoping thats a sign of it not being so bad. Only time will tell I guess. I'm not having a go at someone who takes a dog to the show without knowing, it's probebly exactly what I did on the weekend! But I have heard so many people talking about dogs coughing at shows and the owners knowing and not caring, and there have been a few people who say they have dogs at home with KC, yet they bring the ones who are not coughing to the show. These are the people who need to have a really hard think about what is more important to them
  20. We have had it twice before, both times only a couple of dogs came down with it. Our old Wei girl Millie had a really bad case last time which really knocked her about so I'm hoping she doesn't get it this time
  21. Thanks MM. Not sure if people will ever listen, but you can only try I am very disappointed. This would have been Pippa's last royal, and I was getting really excited about showing Gwen in the Puppy class . I know there is always another dog show, but I was really really looking forward to this one.
  22. Thanks I left after Inter so didn't see who went back in.
  23. From memory.... BIG - German Shep RUBIG - Border Collie Baby - Border Collie Minor - Corgi Puppy - Sheltie I know a Rough Collie went up & I think a Kelpie. Was watching Group 3 at the same time
