It was a lovely weekend, although the temp was abit chilly. Catering was excellent and reasonably priced for change. They had kids going around afterwards selling the remaining bread & rolls quite cheap. Some one was even going around handing out free pieces of Rocky Road. We had a good weekend. Ziggy won 2 Intermediates in group but only got into gen specs line up on Saturady as the RUBIS winner (Dany Dinmont) knocked us ouit. Only complaint would be that the toilet block was struggling to cope by Saturday morning. Thanks goes to BBJ fo handling & looking after Ziggy for me. :D :p ;) :p BB

For a retractable lead your best bet may be to try at Parkes or go for a short drive to Forbes. They will be your next biggest town. CONGRATS Flaves on your results!!!!!!!!!!! BBJ is abit busy I think. She had her dogs to look after plus she took my Ziggy. I haven't heard how they went yet. Yes there is a Finish judge this weekend. I hope the grounds aren't too bad after todays rain. BB

Its a shame we are all in different states, we could all have a play day. My guys are doing well, although they don't being locked outside for more than approx 20 mins. (With mum to supervise.) I don't give in to their whines I wait till they are quiet then open the door. BB

Teamsnag, sorry to hear that the girls haven't worked out as you planned. We are keeping an eye on our girl to see what faults she may have for the ring all we can do is send mother nature good thoughts. A question for you all: Ours are almost 8 weeks old and fed: Puppy milk at night, toast for breaky, dry food for lunch and raw finely minced chicken for dinner. Water during the day. Question is: How can we get their stools firm? They have always been quite soft to clean up. Thanks BB

I wish i was there. Whats the weather been like up there? I remember last year the Tullamore shows were biterly cold then the weather changed for the better. BB

we have 2 boys 1 girl and I noticed that the smaller boy is the dominate and the girl is quiet. When I have them out front on the grass I love the way they bound along rabbits instead of running. BB

Try the Trading post online, always have kennels for sale in that. Or some servos sell kennels. For pillows etc what about Op shops for unwanted cushions? Theres a Savers store near me. Is there still Mega pet wharehouse in Epping? BB

One year after the melbourne Royal my guys found my Bertie Beetle show bags and ate approx 10 of them and were ok, runny poos but ok. Another year they got into the Xmas presents and ate most of the bag of Soft Liqorice and opened the box of chocolate liquors (sp?). we had a two hour drive after that episode and boy did we have the windows Open for most of the way there. BB

It will be sad when Eric leaves for his Forever home soon. He seems to be the bully of the three so I think he will cope ok. BB

I often show on my own as OH has taken up stewarding. Make friends within your breed or group and ask some one to help you but not right before your breed is judged. Ask some one probably with a breed that is shown several breeds before or after yours so you are not disturbing them while preparing their dogs. eg IF you show Fox terrier ask someone with a breed starting with "A" or an "S" BB

Did the Investigations committee find out IF the bitch suffered complications due to be trialled? Did the pups have a difficult start to life? And how late in the pregnancy was she trialled? Do the Committee know? Is the breed in question one that typically has problems whelping or not? I bet the committee has no real answers to these questions! I am guessing that the owner could tell if the bitch was up to it or not and if the bitch was miserable and didn't want to do it surely the owner wouldn't of forced her. Why are the rest of us loosing our right to choose when our bitches are up to doing something or not? make an example of the owner. BB

I was entered, actually my dog was entered but I wasn't feeling too well so we stayed home. So what were the "treats" that everyone was getting? How are the swiming pools? All evaporated? Does anyone have the grp 7 results please? BB
