Jack Is Vomiting

 Share

Recommended Posts

Jack (almost 3yr old GSD) started vomiting around 3am and has done so a couple of times since. Otherwise he seems OK but he's not as bouncy as he usually is - although he's currently 'chatting' with the dog next door.

The vomit (sorry...) is is yellowish and frothy and it looks like he's been eating grass, but whether that's because he feels unwell or not I don't know.

We are witholding food and he's got lots of water which he is drinking. If it continues much longer I'll be off to the vet later this morning. I just wondered if anyone here had any suggestions? He never goes out of the backyard unless he's walking (on a lead) with us, and Gracie (4yr old GSD) is perfectly fine and she's the one with sensitive tum!

I've got the chicken and rice on standby for when he picks up.

Any ideas?

I'm back. Jack is in hospital, they've done bloods and are keeping him in for the moment - I have to ring them at 1.30 to get the results and find out what they're going to do.

I can't believe it - he was fine yesterday :)

Poor thing :)
