Stupid Dog Owner In Public

Thanks everyone, I still feel a goose but glad to know it has happened to others :)

I was a bit worried about Jess as I had to go in to work for a few hours but she is none the worse for wear after being sat on by a ten tonne bum!

3 new leads are on the shopping list as I now will be too worried about another one snapping.

You didn't break anything Robbi.. you weren't trying. :mad

I've broken a wrist walking ONE dog... but two more dogs got into the onlead mix. :mad

How about my effort, I broke my wrist three years ago taking just myself for a walk on flat ground. Idiot!

You're ok Robbi, can't be perfect all the time, have a giggle about it. Brass clips :flame:

Thanks for the advice on lead clips Erny.

I've had similar problems with horse leads, it's why I prefer putting a looped end lead through a rope halter -no clip to break if the horse pulls-.

Oh, and a lot of the better silver clips are nickel plated over brass but are hard to tell apart from the 'cheap and nasty' (and not necessarily $$$$ cheap either!) nickel plated over crappy metal made in China ones.
