Thanks :) im going to cry when she leaves i think i have really enjoyed my time with her and i know she loves us as much as we love her. Pearl was desexed today ( she was going to be done about 2 - 3 weeks ago but i chickened out ) and she did well. She did need fluids during and after her surgery and she was still a tiny bit out of it when i went and seen her but she did so well. Her x rays were good, she has no arthritis and her knees are ok so for now she doesn't need a knee implant which is great! Pearl is really a diffrent do and i can't even say how much i have enjoyed looking after her and im getting upset just thinking of her leaving Definatly more pics to come before she goes off to her new home :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Carlo11 Posted April 3, 2012 Share Posted April 3, 2012 How lucky that Pearl did not have to have cruciate ligament surgery Kelscat . . .My vet did say it was an old injury and even though Im sure he missed a few things with Pearl,very glad to hear his aim on that one was correct.Did she have surgery on her haematoma ears or were they too far gone for repair? No her ears are still the same but she did get meds for inside her ears as they were infected but she only stayed on that for a week or so. kelscats Posted April 5, 2012 Author Share Posted April 5, 2012 (edited) Hi Everyone, Fantastic News, Pearl has gone to her forever home Her new family came out and collected her tonight and she went off home with a 2 weeks anti biotic injection and some other meds. She will have such a great life with them and they have assured me that they will send me updates which of course i can post here.
