Whippets In Rescue (recently Picked Up From Pounds)

I've had a couple of enquiries from people in VIC looking for Whippets.

I know there was the girl in Queanbeyan (white with brindle) and also a fawn female in Wagga.

Can someone let me know if they still have those girls and a bit about their temperament?

Hi Jane,

I know that CPR rehomed the fawn Wagga whippet to a local Wagga family, as I happened to be at Fernleigh Kennels when they collected her.

Jane, I have a 7yr old female who is fantastic with all sized dogs, children and cats. Housetrained and no bad habits. She is blue/white.??

I have a whippet x shar pei in care. Female 3.5yrs. Passed an RSPCA behavioural assessment but wasn't coping in the adoption pens (they are glass bubbles). She is great with other cats and has all her manners.

Did these people find a whippy dogmad? There is one FTGH on Gumtree, 5years old female in the Baw Baw area of Vic. Listed 2 days ago.

Thanks SM, one didn't get back to me and I forwarded the other to a breeder - she needed a very specific dog to suit her requirements which would be challenging for some dogs.
