The Spotted Devil Posted October 22, 2012 Share Posted October 22, 2012 The last few days Loki has been making sloppy style leavings on my carpet. I have tried my best to get it all up and scrubbed but all it seems to be doing is rubbing it into the carpet.......and I am trying all sorts of product for odour. its is driving me crazy I am a very house proud person and this is doing my head in I'm trying to think of the brand I've used previously - has got red wine out and the consequences of a pig's ear not agreeing with my Dally. Will have a look when I get home. I can see how red wine and a pigs ear would not go down very well :laugh: Yeh, he's a terrible drunk. Crisovar Posted October 22, 2012 Share Posted October 22, 2012 Firstly lock the dog away from the carpet areas, look into why you have sloppy faeces to clean up, diet? worms? unwell? Pretty Miss Emma Posted October 22, 2012 Share Posted October 22, 2012 I use Biozet to clean pet stains on the carpet. Hamish vomited up most of a chicken carcass this morning and after cleaning up the chunky bits it was all Biozet-ed away!! I find Biozet seems to work well on most things. Aphra Posted October 22, 2012 Share Posted October 22, 2012 To clean up sloppies from carpet use something like cheap shampoo or dishwashing liquid which is quite viscous (sort of like liquid jelly). Cover the stain with the shampoo and leave it for about ten minutes. The sloppies flocculate up into the shampoo and you can use something to scrape it off the surface of the carpet, and then just use plain water to clean the spot left. redangel Posted October 22, 2012 Share Posted October 22, 2012 Coles sells a product (ruff n coco) pet stain remover. I have found it extremely good to remove poopy nasty/ vomit from fabric/bedding. mr.mister Posted October 22, 2012 Share Posted October 22, 2012 Not long before my boy died he was very ill, and (bless him) tried to hide all his nasties in the only carpeted room in the house - my room. We did our best trying to scrub it out, even to the point of the carpet accidentally getting the colour bleached out of it. But unfortunately in the end we had to replace the carpet.
