Coton De Tulear

One thing I do know about the Coton is I love them  I don't think there are any breeders here in Aus.

They are a very trainable, water loving, playful, social little dog from all accounts. Not yapper's either.

If you were looking for a dog very similar to the Coton, I would highly recommend the Havanese. They are an

awesome little dog. Very cute. Terrific temp. Really bubbly personality. Get on well with other dogs, small & large

also cats in my experience. Very social. Extremely easy to train as they are really biddable. And not yappy at all.

There is a breed page for them on this forum I think & in the sub forum there are folks/breeders that will be able

to answer any ???? you may have. We have one in my extended family & honestly little Lola is such a sweety. Full of beans &

loads of fun. Hope I have been of some help :)

My sister lost her Maltese last week he's was 14 and she is upset but the house is so lonely with out him and her 5 and 2 yr old missing him she is due to have baby number 3 in September so didn't want to have a new born and puppy at same.. They saw this breed while in Europe and her hubby suggested it to her I've never heard of them so thought I would ask anyone has one where could she find a breeder to speak to about them etc I'm trying to help her, she would like to save a dog don pound but is worried about back ground having small kids.

She had a mini labradoole on her list I have talked her out of that one. Well I hope!

Hi guys does anyone know know anything about this dog???

Adorable fluff balls. Have a friend in the USA that has 3 of them.

They are a little bit like Havanese. Their tails sit differently.

The ones I was in love with were not yappy dogs and very healthy.

In my notes ( of dreams) I have the name SANDCASTLE. This is a breeder in Hawaii. I heard 4 of her puppies came downunder. I have no other conformation of this.

There are no Cotons breeders in Australia at the moment that I know off. There was talk of bringing some out but I don't believe it happened.

If she likes the style of dog she should have a look at Havanese.

Thanks BC crazy that's very helpful my sister got Zac from a pet shop many as mentioned he was 14 she saw him on the Monday and went back the Friday he was still there so brought him and you know what I am against Byb and pet shops and people can flame me if they like but he was the most special well behaved smart loving dog you could ask for such a big part of our family not just my sisters as she traveled a lot as she's a flight attendant my parents had him when she was away so heart breaking for them.. So thanks for the suggestion I have past it on she is not set on one breed and doesn't want to rush.
