Bones For Old Dog

 Share

Recommended Posts

My 14 year old foster doesn't have great teeth. She wouldn't be able to eat the bones I give my dogs. But I'm thinking that she might enjoy having a chew on a bone every so often and gumming it about. But what sort of bone can I give her? Could she have a small turkey neck or something? She's a border collie.

Of course maybe she doesn't care and I just want her to have the things my dogs get!!

Gruf is really enjoying whole fish heads. Large salmon/trout heads take him about ten minutes to eat. He is a young medium size dog. The fish head do require quite a bit of crunching up but the bones are not really hard.

There is a video of him eating one on his FB page ' It's A Gruf Life'
