  1. So sorry for your loss, 12years of love is a good life for a dog, I'm sure he'll be keeping an eye on things from his new home, youll see it every now and then when you look at one of his pups. Shayne
  2. Fleas are a pain at the moment, I'm using Revolution every 2-3weeks at the moment, I'm thinking of doing the neighbours dogs also.Hog ps, thanks for the tip Dogmad will try Pricelesspets.I found a $22.00 difference between produces stores I use for my revolution, I hate it when I find out I,ve been ripped by my local friendly store that I spend Thousands of dollars in over the year. I,ll give them bloody $22!
  3. I dont think you were out of line or abrupt Miranda, I dont think the op would have found that either, Ahaze has said they were new to puppies and the information you gave was what I was thinking also, not all of these alturnate supplyments work and for newbies raising new puppies I think they should be aware of the pitfalls and given the advise from others they are then able to make up their own minds, but i agree that that is probably why" they are always starving". Hog
  4. Skipy, What you have decided is right , everything you said is right, your bitch will be fine ,no males will hang around her , she wont need any other operations. Isn't that what you really wanted to hear, rather than some very well educated diagnoises and experience from long term breeders that have had simmilar issues and offered to try and help you out? sorry but you are the weakest link good night. Shayne......unleash the hounds!

  17. we remove the dew claws at 3days old any later and as stated the veins under the claw develop, surgery under ga after sixmonths, very painful recovery time, I would in your case keep the nail trimmed short and if you are hunting tape the claw up. twice around with plastic stretch bandage available from vet /produce, hell get use to it ,if you put it on before you release him he'll probably not even notice it .remember it dosnt need to be tight as the adhesive will keep it in place its just to stop it getting caught up. reguards shayne ;)
  18. I have been useing advantix for the past four months to control the usual parasites, how ever, it doesn't seem to be working, before i was using frontline plus then switched to include mosie and tick, both in my area, but the problem is fleas, i applied the product last monday and the fleas are back today .my dogs are in the 25 to 32kg weight range im using the product for over 30kg . i never had a problem with frontline. i havnt washed the dogs since applying the product, cant find any in the bedding but it is supposed to clear that also, they get their flea prevention every month without fail, its only been the last 2 months ive had the problem, has anyone else had any problems with it or what do you all recomend, im going back to the other i think.
