  1. Have you tried DAP? We've seen an improvement in Angel's anxiety with it. Never heard of using St John's Wort on dogs, sorry.
  2. If he's following you around the house when you're home I'd put a stop to that. Teach him to lay on his mat and stay there.
  3. Where and when is it on Vickie? Am I correct in thinking that I could opt for the $20 option even though I'm a professional? That's the impression I got from comments above.
  4. Bruno's been lumpy for most of the summer. I think it's mozzie bites and/or an allergic reaction to them. I've tried everything without joy. He doesn't seem bothered by them so we'll just ride it out and hopefully he'll come good in autumn.
  5. Can anyone join? I always presumed it was for owners of papered dogs
  6. Yes you did,I owned the 3 Boys. How great to meet you and then see your post here. Thanks for stopping and chatting, I hope you didn't end up with too many slobber marks. No, I dressed for the occasion so it was all good! What's your prefix? I was telling my Rottie friend about your lovely dogs but couldn't remember any of their names Pleasure! They're my favourite pics of the day :)
  7. Did I meet you today Lee? I was taking photos. My friend owns Dobes. I loved meeting the Rotties, they were gorgeous and so well behaved :)
  8. Not sure if you already know this, but dogsbite.org is the creation of a web designer that's pro BSL. Don't take any of what you read there as unbiased facts. http://btoellner.typepad.com/kcdogblog/2010/03/the-truth-behind-dogsbiteorg.html http://www.opposingviews.com/i/the-truth-about-dogsbite-org

  10. Our now departed Husky had zero interest in toys and he would only play with one of our other four dogs occasionally, and only because she gave him no choice, the pest! He did like rough and tumble with my OH though. I didn't see it as an issue. Just how he was
  11. Pet Expo in Rosehill weekend of 18 Feb is the only one I can think of off the top of my head. No pets allowed though AFAIK.
  12. I think it comes down to the temperaments of the individual dogs. A friend of mine has a female and a male that have no issues with each other Also, I notice that Save our Strays sometimes rehomes them in pairs. Not that that means anything, just an observation.
  13. Ours have a Molly Mutt bed too It's seen better days though! They have these memory foam beds in the living room now. $30 each on COTD I think. There are trampoline beds and kennel mats outside and beds in their crates for night time too. When I got in a dog bed washing frenzy on Saturday I realised we have wayyyyy too many dog beds!
  14. They're mostly on his head, so a t-shirt wouldn't work. He'd rip it off anyway, he's a destructive little shit! I'll go with the Permoxin. He's in and out of his paddling pool all day though so I'll need to put it on him daily.
  15. Usually I work from home so my dogs spend most of the day inside. I've been working in an office for the last couple of days and the dogs have been out in their runs. Bruno has lots of bites all over him. I think they're from mozzies. What's a good repellant? Permoxin? Aerogard?
  16. I voted other as well. Inside crated if it's just a few hours. Outside in runs if it's for a whole day. I work from home though so they're mostly inside tripping me up everytime I move!
  17. I've been with all my dogs at one time. It's a good club. I find the classes too big though. Especially beginners.
  18. Thanks. A female AST has been found. Unfortunately the friend of a friend that wanted help finding a Kelpie never got in touch. I passed on links to the mutual friend, but I can't do anything more It came as a surprise to a lot of people
