  2. Gawd... nothing is safe anymore Im leaving DOL now I know your here :-p
  3. My smooth griffon Neville won Runner Up Best In Group this weekend just gone, he also won 2 x puppy in group and 2 x puppy in shows, so very proud of this little dude considering the rough griffons are suposedly favoured over the smooths. Hes had some amazing feed back from the judges and everyone involved with him is just thrilled to bits with his progress thus far!!!
  4. Toddle off to bunnings and get one of their playpens/compost pens and put it round the tree, thats what I will be doing!
  5. Im not sure there will be a 2013 hopeful here till march or later but cant wait to join, my 2012 hopefuls havent done to badly!!!
  6. I wish I wasnt showing.... I have one here that would LOVE it!
  7. There's a lot of bitches ( not of the female dog type) and a heck of a lot of bitching at dog shows!!! But if u have a good bullshit radar talk to everyone and get a feeling for who's who yourself !!!
  8. Two also be my pick! Also how old are they here I found with my pick of litter she was the nicest in the 4week photos then she went very ugly for a while and at 8weeks was back to being my pick 110% I have recently had to sit her out for 6 months to grow into herself I guess she was always going to be a bitch that was hard to grow, but now she is lookin great again!!!
  9. I will ask around :-) When I had a slightly older pup to rehome I used gumtree and was just SUPER careful with vetting people and made sure he had enough money on him that it turned the idiots away but not so much that it would scare people off! Sadly older pointers can be harder to home and it can take some time to find the right home!
  10. Im glad Im not the only one that feels that way! Id stick with the proplan if thats what you are familiar with Horsegal, just make sure the change over isnt too fast and hey if the proplan doesnt work then try something else! My dogs have also done well on bonnie working dog, optimum and super coat but the big difference with these ones is the size of their poops! Huge compared to the advance which they are on now!
  11. I have recently just gone thru a 20kilo bag of Black hawk (that i won) and my dogs did terribley on it! I wouldnt reccomend it at all! (I know others use it with no issue thou so each to their own) Atm I feed my dogs Advance active and they are doing brilliantly, I use to use proplan performance or puppy and they occassionally got the runs on it and I have had friends whos dogs have had the same issue with it! I have also used Royal canin but couldnt get the performance type at the store so gave that the flick and eagle pack my dogs did well on but again I had huge issues actually getting it especially because I needed bags big enough to lst my 6 more that a week :-p
  12. I doubt you will find a responsible registered breeder who does not vaccinate! The raw feeding you COULD find, maybe, but if I were you I would buy the puppy that suits you 100% temp wise from the best breeder you can find then slowly change his or her feeding over and not vaccinate if you wish from that point on!
  13. My little man Neville has been blitzing it lately winning BEST IN GROUP in his last weekend in minor :-)
  14. I kind of made the same link with royal flush ect and cards which I think would make me head down and alice in wonderland theme :-)
  15. Dad would love that video Nevafollo! Yes, it's meant to be a Pointer and given that dad comes from the same town as Arnie (Graz, Austria) manybe it is the Arnie of Pointers Trinabean! Its a fantastic video I love the puppy and love watching the way they work, my two more birdy dogs will often do similar style stuff in the yard my boys tail does the helicopter like theirs too!
  16. Its either a VERY muscley and over done Pointer (of the english variety) or could be one of these :-) Either way LOVELY statue :-)
  17. I have both a pug and a smooth coated griffon, they live with a "herd" of Pointers :-) My current pug is a fawn and shes crazy but I have owned a black and if you want a pug with lots of energy I'd go a black!!! Whilst I have always been a pug girl I am extremely taken with this little griffon of mine, but i will admit the smooths seem more out going, my guy is a over the top and I hope to not only show him but to do agility and stuff with him too! A friend of mine shows frenchies and they are great dogs too! I would recommened a Black pug first then a frenchie then a griffon, smooth griffon!
  18. Seems you have been very unlucky in the past. Go to a Jap spitz breeder who health tests their dogs for anything you are personally oncerned about, Im sure you have looked into what they are prone to by now? I wouldnt buy from that Jap spitz breeder and is the pom puppy you posted a pick of from a registered breeder???? if not I would avoid them too! No papers means you might actually be getting a jap spitz x jap spitz cross and on the off chances both parents are registered but on limited register well they could be on limited reg for a reason and werent sold to be bred with.
  19. I was thinking the same thing about their fencing.... I wonder if he only does this on command? Or wether hes an escape artist at home? Maybe he is houed in an escape proof run? He is AMAZING! I'd hate to have to try and contain him he LOVES it!
  20. Oh I LOVE grey hounds... he looks lovely! Def on the one day list :-)
  21. They were still taking entries on the weekend, so Id say they will be slow in coming!
  22. I use comfortis and it is the ONLY thing I have used that 100% keeps fleas off my dogs. When I had baby pups I used the front line spray every few days and it was very effective. I could be wrong but arnt some types of flea treatments only reccomended to pups over 3months?
  23. Whippet was my first thought to, I think one could be ideal!!!
  24. I have a super pic for this, my lovely boy Konrad is 18 months now but I made this when he was 12 months, He is 9 weeks, 14 weeks, 6months and almost 12 months
