It's not 'more meat' that creates problems in large/giant breed puppies, is the wrong ratio of calcium and phosphorous as well as too high calorie intake. I fed RC and my dogs didn't do well on it at all. It's full of grains and one was farting alot and had an upset tummy very often. If dogs can't digest grains easily why feed them? I just don't understand. I know that some dogs to well on RC though. I know that some dogs do well on Pedigree as well.

I recommend raw meaty bones as I have found teeth cleaning very hard/ineffective. We got our cat in the US and didn't know much about bones etc then, so I was cleaning her teeth but she still had a huge tartar buildup. Now that she gets raw chicken wings/necks all the tartar is gone.

I would stay away from any trainer that claims they can fix an ongoing problem in 3 hours ( ) I have heard of Bark Busters.... they seem horrible! Where are you located? Maybe we can recommend you a trainer or a behaviorist.

I would not use Advocate with an Ivermictin sensitive breed like border collies, unless you had them tested. I would recommend Sentinel Spectrum for fleas, heartworm and all the intestinal worms.

It's very hard to work with a dog with a 100% drive/excitement. If you can manage though you will get the strongest behaviors.
