  1. Hi Mawson! Sorry not been on the thread much - busy with the litter including one still being raised by hand etc etc... Was planning on doing the walk but with the pups and all.... If the wife is going to be around Sunday I may make it out there with Amy - she's been badly neglected the last week and I've got the guilts up! Saw you in town today Tenties, on Kepler Street. I was the one waving furiously and calling out! Think you were a million miles away! Hope everyone's well and we'll have to try and get everyone together again for a play date soon. Mick.
  2. Have posted some puppy pics on the Hungarian Vizsla thread
  3. Hey all! Would love to get poor neglected Amy out for a run & play on Sunday sometime, so if you are getting out let me know. (Not too early - gotta get the Mrs brekky in bed and all!
  4. Thanks TLC & RJ - yeah very busy atm! She had them naturally - if your interested in the 'little story' see the Hungarian Vizsla thread in Sub Forums(Quite interesting!). Busy now but fill you in later. Mick.
  5. Jerojath Hungarian Vizslas are pleased to announce the early, but safe arrival of 5 Handsome Boys & 5 Very Beautiful Girls. First whelped today at 8:00am and the last at 10:35am. Mum & Babies all well and all have really wonderful new homes waiting for them all around Australia. Some are going to be much loved companions, others will be shown and others will be worked in the field. When things settle down again a bit, I will catch up with you all again for a play-date. Mick.
  6. Duh! Note to self: "read all posts prior to posting!"
  7. Hey Pandii - yeah things are getting back to normal now. Have had various people staying with us for well over a month and we are just glad to have the place to ourselves again. My in-laws are really great but... sheeeez!! Now I'm stuck at home when I'm not working with Belle who looks like she's about to explode! She's my littlest bitch and she's gotta have at least ten bubs in there. She's booked in for a caesarian for next saturday but I have to watch her like a hawk in case she goes into labour early coz last time she suffered uterine inertia and I don't want her to labour this time. She has really had enough now - she'll be pleased to know this is her last litter!! Would still love to get out with you guys for a walk with Amy. Let me know if any of you are meeting up on the weekend. ETA - How'd you get on at Bunnings RJ?
  8. RJ - My litter is due on May 9th and if there is something really special, I will keep it to show. The girls I've got now are ex-show dogs or hate the show-ring! Fingers crossed!
  9. Warrnambool DOLers may be interested to know that out of 17,763 DOL members, our very own Pandii is ranked 19th in relation to total posts on these forums!
  10. Hi All! Sorry I have been off-air for a while but we've had interstate visitors with us for a couple of weeks now, a wedding here in town and now my baby (14 months) is in hospital crook!! So it's all been happening and I haven't been able to make it to one of our 'meets'. Hope to catch up with y'all soon!
  11. Sure I'll help with those dirty ears of yours! Try getting some Otoderm over the counter at your vet. If they don't have it "Leo's" is an ok substitute (Vet nurse will advise). Will try and catch you during the week to sort it out.
  12. Hey, thanks for taking your camera tlc and posting the pics. Now I can prove to my Mrs what I was up to with a bunch of lovely ladies this morning! Is there no trust???
  13. I don't care either... question is do YOU lot want to see my big ugly head in high-definition! Edited To Add... can you photo-shop the belly PLEASE???
  14. Geez - those restrictions are pretty tough! Luckily I am looking for a dog property out of town but hope they don't implement them too soon! Also wonder why Nil reptiles are allowed yet no limit to tortoises??? Thanks for posting that Munchin! The WCC at its best!
  15. You're right - not my scene But... as long as tenties is bringing a bottle of plonk...
  16. IF I make it I will have two girls with me. They are 'big' I suppose but very dog friendly and very patient with little-in-ya-face-type dogs.
  17. Pandii - nice to finally meet you today and sorry I was in a rush (as always) but I am trying to get out with y'all on Friday - fingers crossed!!!
  18. R J - Litoria Chloris? Until our recent move to Warrnambool, we too kept frogs. We had lots of Litoria Ewingi (Whistling Tree Frog) & Lymnodynasties Tasmeniensis/Dumerilii among others. Have also kept lots of reptiles (Blue Tongues, Shinglebacks, Pythons, Bearded & Water Dragons etc) but now we just have some tortoises (Chelodina Longicollis) in a HUGE tank in our dining room! Will have to come see your frogs one day 'frog lady'!
  19. Tenties - Have been wondering why you are being evicted (sorry, not wanting to be personal! ) and also if there is any way local DOLers can help? I am lucky - I am renting temporarily while we search for a suitable kennel complex out of town, and my landlords are terriffic! They know how many dogs we've got here and that we breed etc. We were also permitted to build kennels/runs (removable) on the property while we are here!!! Hope it's not just a matter of your dogs - it's hard to find a rental property that allows dogs at all and a reference from them might be invaluable in the future...
  20. Of course you can!!! I'll keep you posted. Are you a sucker like me and would want to take one home? Or are you content with a pat and a sniff? Love that new-puppy smell!
  21. Thanx Pandii - he is a stunning boy. Ive got another litter due on May 9th and another around January. I don't breed often (only when I need one) so I am excited. Have wonderful homes lined up for all pups from both litters already which is great. Then I wont be having another litter for about three years, so hope I get something special out of one of these litters!!!
  22. Sounds good - but would have to SHOOT it the moment it is launched!
  23. I would love to do flyball - but mine won't show any interest in bringing something back to me if it doesn't have feathers!
