  1. I have already swapped my 2 from necks to wings as they just inhaled the necks.
  2. That would be fantastic, I am really interested in brining my 2 along.
  3. Is this the same as 'Advane Growth Large Breed'? Thats what I feed and they are thriving on it.
  4. That is a shame as they looked great! We used to have plants in the garden - not any more though. Good job OH and I aren't garden people!!! Did your OH design that kennel himself?
  5. That looks awesome!!! Love the plants outside the front door! My two labs would eat them right up!!!
  6. Morning walkies will have to be before food, and then evening after. Can't wait - they are so ful of energy right now and really need to walk some of it off
  7. This is an awesome photo, did you take it yourself?
  8. Thanks emmark. I may bring the food earlier and then walk them after as they get very excited after their meal and could really do with walking off some of the energy.
  9. I think i may have to tackle some more of our wedding album now!!
  10. The boys get their injection next saturday and so we will be ready to start daily walkies - and boy do we need it!!! My question is.... is it best to walk them before of after they have their evening meal? They normally get fed between 6 and 6.30 pm?

  14. I am sure that they will be fine with him, the man was really into the training.
  15. Lou and Andy had their first tatse of puppy school last night and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. There were 2 other puppies there, a cavadoodle and a staffy. The lady taking the class was asking the staffy owner questions about his puppy 'Rebel' The owner said that he got him from a mate that lives on a farm and that he is a pure bred staffy. The lady then asked the puppy's age, to which he answered 10 weeks. This is only 1 week older than my lab puppies and he totally dwarfed them!!! This 'purebred staffy' was absolutely huge, and looked more like a rhodesian ridgeback. The lady then asked about the dogs parents and the owner said that he met the mum - who is a staffy and he was told that dad is a staffy too. The lady then said "I have to tell you that your dog has more in it that just staffy and he is going to be a big boy" The owner went a little pale, clearly not knowing what he had let himself in for. His wife just scowled at him!!!
  16. thanks for that, i woudlnt want them worrying about each other if they did have to suddenly seperated, even though we bought them both to make sure they always had company, you never know what will happen down the track. We start pupy school on Wednesday night, so excited about it. They already sit to be fed, wonderful breeder's influence!!!
  17. How long will be enough for them? Will it be enough to walk them seperately, leaving the other one in the garden for say 10-15 minutes? We are not walking yet as waiting for second injection before we go too far.
  18. Thanks for all of the fab advice. They had another chicken neck each today and loved it. It oesnt seem to be affecting their poo and so i think i will continue with it. is giving them one every day too much though, even though i am reducing the kibble? They are pretty good at taking time out from each other, one will get in the crate and the other will stay in the garden. They spent their first full day by themselves (well while kids were at school) - no crying, little damage that i have found yet, so I am very pleased. Made me laugh as the minute the kids let them in the house, Andy ran in and promptly messed in the dining room - hehehe.
  19. Hi Sas, They are 8.5 weeks old at the moment, and when they play fight, they seem equally balance, neither of them is always 'winning'. They are very even is size and weight. I think I will try to leave them, as its just alot of noise at times and no damage. I think I am being a little over protective, we only got them on Friday. Hi Poodle Wrangler, Thank you for the advice about the kibble reduction. About 1/5 cup sounds good, I think I reduced a little more than that. After reading all of the great information on here about diet, I wouldn't feed a puppy table scraps and would even think twice about feeding them to an adult dog. Thank you both for the excellent advice.
  20. Hi All, After a trip to the vet for puppy check yesterday at which we were given the all clear, the vet said it's ok to start to intoduce variety in to their diet, 1 new thing at a time. They are currently on advance puppy growth, moving up to growth large breed over the next few weeks. So, we bought them some chicken necks and gave them one each yesterday and they were an instant hit!!! My question is - how much of their kibble should the chicken neck substitute? They are having 2.5 cups per day spread over 3 meals. Question 2 - they play really nicely together, but sometimes it gets a bit rough. The breeder said not to seperate them as they will be sorting out their pecking order. I am worried that if I don't seperate them when they are getting really rough, that one of them will get hurt. Am I just being an overprotective mummy? Any help Greatly appreciated.
  21. This is the website I found, I am just a bit nervous about ordering from the US. Has any one found anything in Australia?
  22. Sounds fantastic, where did you get it from. I have looked on the net, but can only find it on american websites. I have even looked on Ebay, but can only find items in the UK or America again.
