  1. Nice photo's, I really like your processing, classy. You live in a lovely spot for photo's. I would love a nice action baywatch/Hoff photo of Roc running out of the surf.
  2. Love the photo's.... very cool.
  3. Love the sand on the face. ;)
  4. Great looking dog, he looks quite big too. Love the water photo's.
  5. I honestly had no idea about Wedding photography until spending some time with Alex and Ash. It is TOUGH and I would never offer my services as a sole photographer for the day. I had a friend just recently that got married who was to cheap to get in a decent photographer. She asked her friend that does "fashion photography".... she studied under Ian Golding, so she was a very proficient photographer. The photo's were terrible, old fashion, boring because she had no wedding experience. I think this proves that wedding photography is very specialised. But good luck with it Ravyk, I am sure you will do a great job. Hope you post some for us to see.
  6. I get quite a few people on flickr contacting me to ask permission to draw Rocco photo's (I think he has one of those nice big round simple heads ) and I dont have a problem with it at all. I think drawing is a superb talent and love the idea that Rocco can help them with this. If they want to sell and make money from his head, Im all for it because it's hand made art. Esp if they became famous and it's Roc's head hanging in the Louvre... Anyone can pic up a camera (not necessarily take a good photo) but not everyone can draw, so I think it's a lovely compliment when someone wants to draw my work.
  7. Here is a face I think you will all recognise. I met snot and disorder yesterday as they're helping me out with my assignment. Both of them are very very cool and I had great time hanging out. I didnt realise how big Snot actually is, I had all these ideas for this tiny pocket size dog. This shows how photogenic this little/big guy is, second picture off the camera.
  8. HDR is using the three exposures (?) but this effect can be computer generated too with either photoshop or lightroom. Andrze Dragan was one of the first to to do this with computer techiniques I think!! and then everyone else copied, you will hear the term "Draganize" alot. You can use this effect at different degrees, some subtle some harsh. Check out Dragans work: Andrze Dragan
  9. nuaghty, by the looks of that material and my coutless visits to spotlight, it wasnt a cheap bed either.
  10. If you like HDR check out this work. This is my my favorite artist on flickr. I worship her work, she is brilliant. Rita Also check out her macro.... I have never had a interest in macro until I saw her work. Macro
  11. Sorry guys I went out for dinner and havent processed yet, planning on doing it tonight promise. Here is a few more from my project :D I love this one. This is Ash mum, who I had the pleasure to photograph. She is exactly how I see the dog show type. She could of just walked off the BIS movie set. She was fantastic. Thanks Ash.
  12. I have been so lucky to have had the chance to meet and photograph Huga's family. Huga is nothing but kind and charming and I am so in love with Eddie and Lola. These three have been so gracious in helping me out for my photography course, not once but twice and even getting smiles from them all as I am wasting their time standing around waiting for me to get my sh!t together with my camera and lighting. Thanks for being so patience Huga. I have so many photo's to process but I am sure Huga would not mind some Eddie pic's, because he is awesome. I think this was Eddies subtle way of telling me it's time to leave....
  13. I am doing a photography course at the moment and have been given an assignment of photographing owner and their dog. So I am wondering if any DOLer's around Brisbane would be interested or know of someone that might be interested to do this in the next three weeks. I am looking for interesting "quirky" people. I will need to do it in your home to catch a natural interaction without distractions (I promise I am normal and only steal things I can fit in my pockets). I'm looking for something a bit different, not hugging your pet under a tree. It will be more about character. Even a interesting home/lifestyle you may have you share with your pet. I would love a old lady or man and their dog if anyone knows of someone that fits this description. Let me know if you are keen or flick me a PM. Thanks heaps.
  14. I JUST LOVE IT!!!! Fabulous. He looks totally awesome. I have to have one for Roc, were did you get the main? I know Ruth will be reading and rolling her eyes....
  15. Great photo's Kaffy. I think Kalais is maturing up so nice.
  16. I love it what did you use to paint with? I think Roc needs to be painted....
  17. Few more of Ralph. Here is checking out his butt... Ralph in the dust storms we have had here recently.... this one was thanks to Ruthless who told me to get out with my camera. ETA... I just realised that he has on a Huga creation too...
  18. Thanks for the info. No touch. I saw someone else getting green eye too. I dont know what I am doing right but I have not had one ugly eye effect with it yet. I was practicing on Roc last night in low light and didn't get ugly eye either.
  19. Maybe I could give Roc a holiday and you drop Duke off to me..... I'll utilise him... :D
  20. What is the difference in a lensbaby and a tilt-shift? To me they look the same with their effect. Those flashrings are so cool, just got one and would recommend. Great portable idea to get nice effects.
  21. That first photo he looks divine. What a gorgeous dog.
