  1. OMG! I have to have Stripe! Please send him to me! Louie at 10 weeks Louie now (18 months) No puppy photos of Evie (she was 18 months when we got her) but she is still beautiful now Snuggling with her Grandma...
  2. Hugs to you Sammy. Fergy was such a little character - bet he is up there giving all the other dogs at rainbow bridge pug zoomies like you have never seen
  3. The pother thing you could do is find a few people with small dogs and split the big bags.
  4. Oh so glad you got a great dane in the end - I hope that if I nosey into the GD thread I will see some pics! NOthing to add to toilet training though sorry
  5. Owning pugs I am not allowed to take them for walks in the morning as they would much rather sleep in my bed until 5 minutes before I walk out the door. At which point they move to their day time area (inside only) and presumably go back to sleep until I get home (put it this way the beds are always warm and the pile of toys is never disturbed!). I do up either a kong, buster cube or twist-n-treat for them each. Kongs I fill with little bikkies, liver, yoghurt etc and top with either yoghurt or some advance wet food and freeze so they have more of a challenge.
  6. I have pugs and wanted to set the ears to be 'button' shaped. All I used was bandaids that I left on until they fell off 'naturally' so no loss of hair. In the end my dog ended up having surgery on his ears and it went 'rosebud' so that was a giant waste of time - but the bandaids were effective!
  7. If my girls showed preferences to food I could give you a true response They ate them, but then Jazz also ate part of a blue tongue lizard she caught today as well so lets just say she doesnt exactly have discerning tastebuds. I'm not sure I will use them alot, they do appear to have split peas in as fillers that are not listed in the ingredients and seemd a it watery but for $3.89 a bag I will keep them on hand as emergency food I think. Man your border collies are gross. My pugs are so much more refined. Found Louie munging on a big cat poop the other day - mmmmmmmm
  8. If you need true specialist care the Specialist Clinic in Norwood is very good - but quite exxy.
  9. We go to Colonel Light Gardens too. Dr Bloch is fantastic very gentle (not that my dogs need that!). Dr Zoe [someone] I forgot her surname is also good.
  10. Which one is your local? Pasadena? I can try Pasadena next weekend for them any way.
  11. Try PMing WeimLover Leema, her older weim, Bailey, suffers awful pancreatitis and she is pretty good on what works for him
  12. Oh no. Our thoughts are with you TFF, run free naughty beagle!
  13. RIP Gav. What a gorgeous little man you were.
  14. It depends on what state you are in. In SA you can get it from the Canine Company on King William St or at SACA Park.
  15. WHat a beautiful tribute. I had the pleasure of meeting Odin once. He was such a happy, friendly, sweet puppy growing into a dog and it was obvious he was very loved. Run free brave little guy
  16. If it is any comfort Louie was an extremely fussy eater until he was about 13 months old. Now he is a garbage bin on legs. She may just outgrow it, then you will have the same problem I am having, keeping her thin!
  17. WHat a beautiful tribute, and what a sad shock to you and your family.
  18. GOd - I would love just one photo of my two as gorgeous as those!
  19. That would be absolutely devastating. The poor owners. I hope they do not blame themselves, but I guess I probably would was it me.
  20. How sad for everyone involved. Farewell Ziggy, you touched many people's hearts in your time on DOL, run free.
  21. The nylabones will work as well if you can get them to chew them. Louie will chews ours but Evie won't - sleective little buggers
  22. Seems to be a common problem here Narelle. A friend of mine is also a groomer here and has a hard time getting decent people to work.
  23. Oh yes, I'll post the knees and elbows stage. I really do want to document it, as it will assist me in evaluating his offspring at a later date. So I'll post those funky teenager pictures. I love it when their back ends go higher than their front ends PugH, you could of had the boy this morning at 6:30 am when he wanted outside NOW! LOL, I also forgot to puppy proof my house before his arrival, needless to say, I'm running around, picking stuff up off the floor or disengaging stuff from his mouth :shakehead: I think I could do 6.30 for that face - send him over please
