  1. Perhaps she'd have been fine if not medicated, we don't know that she would have had hormone issues, just because she cycled more often than what some feel is normal???
  2. Could be backyard bred Pembroke with tail left on the front looks to have a Cardi crook and the ears look Cardi to me but it could very well be a Pem or a combination of the two What era Kelpiegal?
  3. Ooh, I didn't know they came in long coat! Have you got a pic of one? Here's 'Abby' from my 2006 litter at 3 months & again at 2 years , she's a fluffy Pembroke (fluffy Cardigan - same concept)
  4. Not quite still have the last one to name - I just put their profiles on - I will change the names if they do not get registered with the first choice! I am rushing the registration as 1) I wanted to enter one into the baby puppy sweepstakes at the easter show as I am already out there showing that day as the poms are on the same day the 10th of April and 2) we are now faced with moving house, bit rushy with that too so any pups I do not retain will need to be sold around 12 weeks of age so thought I would get it done. Had I known we were moving I would not have mated my girl but so far now that we are the timing is pretty perfect as the pups are coming on to six weeks of age and will be ready for their new homes in another couple of weeks, but i will try and hold onto them till 12 weeks..... we will see.... I wasn't asking you to justify why you had named them so quickly I was just saying you'd named them I hope the house move goes well and without too much fuss!
  5. Do they? I assume you meant in your opinion? I think you'll find that's not the case and varies widely between breed & breeder... Even if a puppy requires 3 meals a day it's easy to work around working hours. Feed just before heading out to work, as soon as you get home from work and before you go to bed.
  6. Though very difficult due to the photos being so old and blurred I feel she's a Cardigan. I'd also go as far as saying she's a fluffy (long coat)...
  7. Ensure it's desexed before it is rehomed, if it's from a breeder, contact them first... I hardly think it's fair to dump it on rescue and make it someone else's problem to find a home for...
  8. perhaps it's a bad mood week there...had a run in this morning myself.
  9. I'd be getting a second opinion - I'd even go as far as a phone consult with Karen Hedberg, always willing to give advice and well qualified in reproduction issues.
  10. Considering all else seems to have failed I'd be starting to think about opening her up to investigate further (cysts etc.) Ive got a bitch that cycles every 4 months, that's just her, she's just had her 2nd and final litter with no problems.
  11. I don't show pregnant bitches but as Sway said, it all comes down to the individual bitch, how's she looking and how she's feeling. You could enter a show a month in advance and come show day she could be pot-bellied and not looking her best...
  12. I prefer the chocolate girl from the photos you posted, the croup isn't as good as the black girl but the shoulder appeals as does the head.
  13. Me too, I think it was a good move to trail it I'm sure it will be an incentive for many...
  14. Friend had the same issue SnoFyre - I ended up going through the hoops and it worked for me so I placed her entry ...temperamental system!
  15. Looks like you've named them, that was quick - I saw their profiles
  16. All mine love the trailer and I have some that travel better in it...
  17. I've got numbers back for this weekend at HB but only got breed sheets for Friday PM and Saturday AM... Friday Havanese - 1 Fields - 2 Pointer - 7 Cattle Dog - 18 Aussie Shep - 17 Saturday AM Havanese - 2 Fields - 2 Pointer - 12 Cattle Dog - 12 Aussie Shep - 21
  18. Why didn't you do a progesterone test???
  19. I'm sure people here will be able to recommend a suitable chiro in VIC ETA: regardless of your thoughts on the breeder, I'd still be advising them of your issues (perhaps via email), even if you gain nothing from them, you've let them know.
  20. I have no idea (MIL doesn't speak much English) OH tells me it's Epiphany Day - which celebrates the revelation of God made Man in the person of Jesus Christ. Yes ture! My calendar at work told me was Epiphany Day
  21. For 2010 it will be the Welsh Corgi National (hosted by the WCC of QLD)
  22. 1 dog and 2 bitches or 2 dogs and 1 bitch? you're so weak!
