Haven't been to work since last Tuesday, and been layed up since Saturday, this one has really hit me hard! Due to go back to work next Monday.

Was 5 the final count? No more hiding? Well done Tarni and congratulations!

I have a visual of little Louis with the cushion dragging along behind him Mine are very similar, on occasion if they have burs stuck in their feet when out for a run, they will come over to me and hold up the offending paw for bur removal. similarly with the occasional bit of poop that just can't make it out on it's own. Sometimes I think mine do it for attention, run up hold the paw up, I inspect and find nothing but give a little rub and say off you go and they are happy. Don't know if their minds would work that way?

Any signs of impending puppies yet? CB how's mumma dog doing today?

Only feeling slightly better today my friend was coming tomorrow but now she can't come till Thursday as she has to go to a funeral. Probably just as well as it give me an extra day to get a bit better.

I usually buy them something, make them a cake and or bickys and we usually do something special. Cooper was spoilt this year for his 5th birthday, he got a ruthless collar and lead.

Fantastic shots guys. Mine from the last few days are only snaps from my bed, I've got the flu and have been in bed since Saturday. will pop em up once I'm only feet again.

Well that's quite amazing, I wouldn't say I have a fear of snakes, I would actually love to feel one to see what they feel like, the thing that bothers me is in the wild they could kill the dogs, that's what I am most afraid of! Your kids are certainly going to grow up being reptile lovers no doubt, are they all as keen as you?
-
tingle from holding a snake, not quite the words I'd use to describe it if I had to hold a snake You really do love those scaly little/big suckers don't you!! Have you always loved snakes, lizards etc?? Or has it just been in recent times that you have come to love them?

JJ did you find a Ink to the video, lots here. http://www.google.com.au/search?q=snake+eats+alligator+and+explodes&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&client=safari I can't watch it as my iPad has no flash for video, will have to have a look on the lappy later. Geez your aground sounds like a piece of work! Hope he is in a good enclosure.

Thanks JJ I'll keep that in mind. I'm really hoping for better sleep tonight so I might be at least slightly better by tomorrow! Fingers crossed.

I haven't caught up with Maws for the last two days but I know they were expecting 9 meter swells. On the 5th they were heading for shelter and the bad weather was going to hold them up by 5 days or so. RJ, what time is your dentist app? Might take you up on that lunch offer, if I can stay upright for longer than 5 mins, not sure how I'm going to go getting to the doctors!

Tenties, long time no chat! CB, fingers crossed for you guys tonight, hope she is feeling much better by tomorrow.

Thanks, I was hoping more like Wednesday, I have a friend coming on Wednesday and we had a great few days planned so I'm hoping to be feeling a lot better by then.

CB sorry she has had a relapse, fingers crossed she is ok. I'm off to the docs tomorrow myself, I've been sick all weekend with the worst wog I've had in years, great start to my Birthday week.

Having 4 it is hard to find accomodation that allows 4 and dogs allowed inside but they are out there, we have found a couple of good ones. I prefer a fenced yard, the bigger the better but even a patch of grass is better than nothing. Definatley prefer to be able to just open the door and let the dogs out instead of having to leash up the whole lot and go to a toileting area. We have done this in a motel and had to take one at a time and it was raining, so it was a real chore when it came to toileting time, one was a pup at the time so there was more pitstops than normal. One place we stayed had a fenced small yard but all concrete, which was a pain as we still had to take them out to a grassed area to toilet. But it was good to be able to go out onto the veranda and the dogs could come out too as they were still fenced in. One spot we stayed B&B has a huge yard like big enough to throw a frisbie or use the ball thrower, the dogs had a ball exploring and they were also allowed inside. We loved Best friends holiday retreat it is the ultimate doggy get away spot. I'd go back there tomorrow and definatley recommend it to anyone who wants a really doggy holiday! Also just wanted to add if we can't find accomodation that accepts dogs then we don't go. We would prefer to go with the dogs than wtihout as I know I would only spend my whole time worrying that they were ok!

I Need A Reason To Tell My Vets That I Only Want A C3 For 16 Wk Lily
tlc replied to Bow Wow's topic in General Dog Discussion
where have I been, I didn't know you had a new puppy she looks gorgeous! Is there a thread with pics somewhere? Did your breeder give you reasons why she should not have it? After Cooper had his he had a severe reaction (face swelled up couldn't breath properly) I was reluctant to give it to my other 3 but they were all fine. After seeing a few shocking cases of KC I had to give it. 2 of mine have had a very mild case caught off another dog. -
Thanks Nic, look forward to your catch up!
