Nice to see you back in here Maws!! Jj, I didn't get around today as you have probly figured out. We decided to be indulgent and go out for lunch before my friend went home. We have had a great couple of days, dining out, playing with our computers and just generally having a great time. we even got to met up with Mawson and Miggy for a doggy run yesterday which was great. Then this arvo I have been bathing the doods! Hope you can make the million paws walk JJ, also there is a tracking day in June, I think it is 26th June, I am guessing if Tarni is having pups she will be too far along for tracking but maybe you could still come out anyway? Maws do you think you will go this time. It was 27th June last year when we went. I can't believe it has been a year! It is also Tullys 4th Birthday that day so I think if I go I will take the birthday girl since she enjoyed it so much last time. Jj I will definatley aim for the weekend to pop in and drop off your stick!

I am doggy mum to 4 gorgeous dogs! Two boys 4 and 3 and two girls 4 and 3. My two girls are both accredited with the Delta pet therapy program and visit our local hospital on a weekly basis, this is fabulous for our town and community as me and two other ladies are the first accredited therapy dog owners with accredited dogs in this area. I am qualified at our local obedience club to teach obedience to owners with pet dogs. I don't do this as much as I used to it is all volunteer work which is fine but hard to fit in everything else I want to do as well. All my dogs are obedience trained, two have done tracking, one has done basic agility. We don't live in a huge town so there isn't a lot of scope for other dog sports, sadly, I would love to do more things like agility and fly ball. I am the go to person at my work for everything dog, not professing to know it all but I think they know I am a trainer and have 4 dogs so its a given that I must know everything. sadly I don't!! This is a great thread, it is fantastic to read what everyone else does with their dogs and how they are involved in the dog world.

I totally agree with you guys re: Craig at the vet group, but he has been ok with my guys but does not have much bedside manner. He was very good with us when our old guy went to the bridge. He did ultra sound on CJ for bladder stones and let me watch, he told me it is sometimes hard to see and he is self taught. he has let me stay with Cooper for a couple of procedures as he knows Cooper is not a happy dog at the vets. He is also our vet for the girls path testing for Delta and has been good with that also. Plus doing thier testing pro Bono which is fantastic. JJ I have been trawling the kindle thread and seen you had posted in there. Let me know if you want books and what sort I can hook you up!

Oh Shell, I think Zero needs Jammies, imagine how awesome he would look in them. EI, its not totally cold here yet either but won't be long, even though we have the heater going 24/7 I find with my guys they still feel the cold a lot when they have had a hair cut.

;) How did I miss this bit? I am assuming they are going to be Tarnagulla bubbies? How exciting!! Did you catch your mice? Or should I say did the snakes catch the mice.

I have one of these, http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/p/pet-jet-wa...mpoo-reservoir/ it is awesome, it screws on the existing tap, it holds shampoo and pressurizes the water and also has a few different settings for how the water comes out. I paid $90 for mine about 5 years ago when they first came out. It gets lots of use. I just got myself another one incase my original gives up on me. I wouldn't be without it!

Nice shot, look forward to the jammies shot!

Thanks Guys! Combination of a few things really. The camera being stuck in thier faces since they were young puppies, treats, training. and now they just seem to love to pose, they see the camera and they are all eager and wait for me to tell them what to do. I do always make sure they get a nice treat after taking a session of pics so thats probly the biggest draw card for them, but they do seem to love the camera!

Hopefully some of the more experienced agility experts might pop in here or you could pop a thread up in the training forum, you may get more traffic in there. I have done basic agility with all of mine and never used tug as a reinforcer, one of mine loves the ball and that is her reward for most things, when we are training.

I have a commodore wagon, 2002 berlina international, it is great, it is my second one, we liked the first one so much we kept it so now we both have a dog car When I only had two dogs I had a toyota rav 4 I got it from brand new and I loved it to bits but it just wasn't big enough so we swapped to the wagon. Lots of space in the back seat and in the rear part. If we go on a trip all the luggage goes in the read and the 4 dogs go in the back seat. When we were looking I really liked the smaller 4x4s but the back part just didn't seem big enough for the 4 dogs all in at once. The wagon just had more space. the ford wagons are even bigger space wise in the rear. Mine is quite good on petrol.
