I was at my friends today she has a mini Schnauzer, she is such a funny dog, very vocal and at the moment she looks so funny with her fur, she is due for a haircut and she is like a ball of fluff!

Like Gayle, I use the glo white on my white girl, I don't use it all the time as I find it dries her coat out to much even with conditioner.

I never even considered that feeding other bits and pieces would be any sort of issue. I never replace whole meals mine always still get a portion of black hawk, mostly a whole portion and the extra is really just extra. Bones for teeth mostly. Good point.

I also wonder what others feed with BH if anything, mine still get RMB at least once a week and chicken wings or necks at least once a week. The raw mine get depends on how much exercise they have and if I think they need a bit extra. If I don't have any bones/chicken available they may get a bit extra BH. Generally on the days they have the raw stuff I will reduce the amount of BH for thier evening meal. Gee reading that back it sounds very confusing At least I know what I am doing, I think Anyway it works so that's the main thing!

Tenties might be interested, she shows her dogs, not sure about RJ, maybe when she gets her new puppy? If you want extra dogs for distraction etc I'd be happy to come along with one of mine.

Yea it was the grain free one, the four flavors one. The non grain free one was $30 so I thought might as well get grain free for an extra $5 Another OT question, dry foods with lots of grains in them, is it only used for a filler? Is there any benefit to grains, I have heard people say dogs ate everything in the wild but really did they eat grains? I am a bit clueless when it ones to the ingredients and a bit of a follower as far as what's the best food. Also guided by if the dogs like and do well on a particular food as to whether I stick with it or not.

I have never boarded my dogs (my oldest is 5 next month) I hope I never ever have to but if I did, I would not like them to be socialized with other dogs, even though they are all well socialized I just wouldn't feel right with out my full supervision. Proper bed and court yard sound great, and walks sound like great too. Hope your doggies have a ball.

Well I went and grabbed the bag of Canidae today $35 for 2.27 kilos, that hurt a bit especially when I just bought 2 x 20 kilo bags of black hawk :p oh well you live and learn!! Only just realized today that I have always thought Canidae was Canadie and I thought it was pronounced Can - a - dee. What is the proper pronunciation is it Can - i - day?
