  1. Hi Guys, When I post a picture I get this come up does anyone know why?
  2. Heres mine if anyone is interested. 1/2 cup oil 1/2 cup water 2 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla (you dont have to put this in if you dont want to) 2 cups flour 1 cup oats 3 teaspoons peanut butter (melt in microwave first) Mix everything together to form a dough - add more flour if needed. Roll out to about 1cm thick and cut into shapes (I have bone shaped cookie cutters) cook for about 20 mins at 200 degrees celcius or until they start to go brown. You can alternate the peanut butter with liver.
  3. Photos look great, looks like you had an awesome day!
  4. So glad you had a great day and the weather was supurb! Your kids sound like little darlings! SO god that they made your day all the more special! Will look forward to some photos. As for the kindle, it holds 3,500 books so it eliminates the need to have paperbacks. it is similar to reading a book as the page is not back lit and the e ink is awesome on the eyes, just like reading a real book. You can get books at the touch of a button, so if you run out of stuff to read one click and you have the book delivered wirelssly to you. have a quick look here there is a little video. http://www.amazon.com/Kindle-Wireless-Read...;pf_rd_i=507846 I have been to AP this morning and we ran across a man on a horse who happened to come up behind us at a great rate of knots, scared the wits out of me and the dogs were just lying ont he track in the shade waiting for me to catch up when it came along. I immediatley panicked as it was so close I thought right away Cooper is going to give chase, he watched the horse get closer and I had turned to go the other way to cal them all to me. Cooper got up and started towards the horse and I just called him to come to me and he spun around immediatley and came to me I was just like I couldnt believe it. I was so proud of him. the other 3 had a little bark and run towards the horse but came strait back when I called them, I was more concerned about Cooper. He really has turned a massive corner and is the most well behaved dog now, its just amazing what a little age can do, I guess the training helps a bit too. ;) But the horses have alwasy been a big issue. I thinkt he few times we have walked around the pak and been at the beach with the horses there they have become a bit more familiar which is great. ANyway Ill stop raving about my boy now!!
  5. So you witnessed this event, did you have your video camera or camera handy!
  6. So glad the little dude made it through the night and is on the improve! Hope he can come home soon.
  7. Nice shot Huga!! I haven't even put up last weeks shot. Hey Huga a bit OT but just wanted to let you know nearly every person that sees your collars on the dogs say how awesome they are. Lacys ( the flowery one) has got the most ohhs and ahhs. They are great!

  9. I got my bone shaped cookie cutters at house, also some off the net. I have a great recipe for peanut butter dog bickys it's easy and must be yummy as my fussy boy loves them! I'll post it tomorow.

  12. Jane is one clever girl! SO switched on Wel about the new kindle, I didnt even get through 2 pages last night and I just couln't keep my eyes open, probly didn't help that I started reading at about midnight. had had a big day with two dog walsk and work and the usual stuff at home. Shan and I went to AP last night and had a big walk and ran into Harry (CJs) brother and his owners, it was so good to see them playing together. They definatley know they are brothers, they were playing and wrestling and running around with each other like long lost buddies (we havent seen them since last summer) I wished I had of had my camera. And hows this CJ and Mawson were running after the ball and CJ was getting annoyed as Maws was in front and anyone who know CJ knows he likes to be the boss of the game especially with the ball, so Mawson gets to the ball first and CJ runs full pelt into Mawsons side (on purpose)giving a bit of a growl as he did it, like a spoilt little brat cause he didn't get the ball first. Mawson was like "what ever" Anyway hope the weather stays good as the evening walks are great!
  13. Its funny people say that all the time but realy I have loved every minute of having 4 so young all at once, I just worked out last night I had 4 puppies in under 2 years! Geez I must have been mad. Bronson has been my biggest challenge, he is very cheeky and bold but thats what I love about him, he has such personality. Well they all do and they are all so different! I'd have number 5 if my OH would give the go ahead but sadly I don't think that is going to happen any time soon. :D Your little pack is certainly a very cute one! Beautiful dogs!!
  14. I am feeding Eagle pack, but soon to change to Nutro. My fussy oldest dog has been a pain to feed and we have tried lots of different things. (actually just finished posting about this in ernys food thread) I have found Eagle pack to be the best but it is hard to get so thats why we are swapping to Nutro. Both companys will post out samples if you want to try it first.
  15. Sounds like it's time. I agree, I would be tempted to have this done with Cooper but I think now as we seem to have stuck a balance, I'd do it if he needed another procedure done at the same time. Might put your mind at ease and if they find something at least you would know what your dealing with!!
  16. Ive just read through this whole thread. it has been interesting reading. Erny sounds like a nightmare with your boy, I have one similar my oldest boy always been fussy (vets words) I think there is more to it but that remains to be seen. I have had a few ups and downs with food and mine have been on raw meat & veg, cooked meat & veg RMBs etc but we have finally settled with eagle pack and all going well till we now find every couple of months the supply issue which is a pain in the butt. So once this bag is near to the end I am swapping to Nutro. I asked the company if they could send me some samples and they did. They were a hit and if the oldest boy likes something then I give it 100% as he is the "fussy" one. I noticed another poster (can't remember who) saying about her dogs being hyper on a certan food. This last bag of Eagle pack I had was holistic and I have noticed that with my lot and I was wondering if it could be the food they just seem to have super energy and at times are just full of beans, not constantly but every now and then. Not to worried as we will be swapping soon. I can really sympathize with you as it is so worrying when they wont eat, Cooper can go for days and sometimes I have to force feed him something to tasty to stimulate him to eat. He seems to be much better now he is on a dry diet. They also have RMB, chicken wings necks etc.
  17. Mmmm he must be related to my Lacy We were heading to dog zone in Richmond and stopped for coffee in Bridge road and here is my little miss all dressed up for her dog date and away she goes, but in her defence we had had a very long car trip and there was no grass in site so she didn't have much of a choice! Minimising is one thing, I think most dog owners do subconciously do that. Trying to completely STOP a normal bodily function is another altogether. Sheesh, I know what I'd like to do to somebody who stops me from going to the lav when I need to. Mr Ellz has tried once and I threatened to take his head off and poo in the hole!! ;) Thats hilarious This is a real timely thread, I just posted this in another thread the other day "We have a gross problem at the moment, 3 times this week there has been someone walking past our place with their dog and letting it toilet on our footpath out the front, and 3 times it has been the length of our block 22m that's a long poo. Twice we have been able to pick it up but tonight no way it was like full on mush the whole length again! I said to Sean we should laminate a sign of some sort and stick it to the fence. I would say the dog is doing it while the owner just drags it along and it's definatley not a small dog. I tell ya there is going to be agro if they are caught in the act. Is there such a thing as dog poop rage." I couldn't care less if a dog poops on our lawn but for god sake pick it up at the very least, I woudn't even care if they came down our driveway and put it on our bin. Mine will wee on command but as for number 2 if they gotta go they gotta go, never really thought about making them stop, apart from occasionally if we are on foot path and they indicate they wanna go I will find a patch of grass for them. We don't do a lot of on lead walking so I don't have to worry about it too much. They will toilet on lead if they have to, they learnt they had to do this from an early because we do long trips in the car and there isn't always off lead areas to let them go. Funny thread!!
